According to a report by Vanguard, CAN is also asking for N50m damage as trauma compensation for the girls, plus overseas University on Government scholarship for each girl from the federal govt.
A statement signed by the Christian body gave reason for the attack on Chibok girls’ high school.
"Chibok is 90% Christians. Majority of the girls abducted are Christian! Why did Boko Haram visit Chibok Local Government? Why didn’t they visit so many other Local Government Girls Secondary Schools in Borno State?”See the names of 180 abducted girls as released by CAN after the cut...

Do we seriously hav to bring in religion in everything we do??? Seriously?? Shameful
ReplyDeleteReligion is our number one problem is this country. Like CAN can also say the ones that escaped were the few Muslims among the captured kids. We were fighting this battle as a nation, why bring up religion? These religion leaders are political instruments just like political thugs.
DeleteCAN ooooooo go and pray so they can come back alive..seriously? Pls make christains proud jor, what was that all about?'CHRISTAIN SCHOOL'..what even happened to the schools in Nigeria or have you guys started having slots?
DeleteWith verifiable pictures, I'll accept these cos right now na just scam
DeleteThis is d same thing ave being saying, no unity..... Smh. CAN @ least there were Muslims in d group na, y r u guys so shameless? So r u saying that bh brought a list and were selecting Christians alone mennnn dis is sad or do u think it was only the Christians that were put in lorries and d Muslims were put in a 2014 hummer limo?! What r u guys saying na CAN, during this bh saga, r u tryn to say Muslims haven't been killed as well all this while or the mosques that were blown up doesn't count? For the fact that people look up to this organization, Shame on u CAN!
DeleteOnyx Godwin take a critical look at everything here. How come they took the christians away and the muslims were freed in the name of "they escaped" Does it not have to do with religion???
DeleteThis country.Tufia. even the names listed there's comma. a name is listed more than 2 times. Abi everybody has first name and last name namesake.
DeleteWe soooo coNfused as to what to and who to believe cus dis names was never shown to us if nt dat we started asking questions and besides we dnt know dis gals.........wats happening? But den who go ansa d question?
ReplyDeleteThe girls have not been found and they are talking about money, compensation; first things first, please. Religious game/politics is also not necessary at this point; cos it's partly the cause of Nigeria problems.
DeleteWhat a pity i feel like crying for them.
ReplyDeleteBut i am sure GOD will be with them all!
See Guy And Girlfriend Intentionally Shared Their After Se.x Photo On Bed!
God please bring them back #bright bravo#
ReplyDeleteMtchewww...do we care???
ReplyDeleteGod punish you like he has never done before! Imagine your sis was one of those girls! Wicked wretched soul!!
DeleteIdiot! U will never care until ur dick is cut out and given to u to chew! heartless fool
DeleteYou Need To Have The Cash, If You Wanna Fu’ck Me – Maheeda… Realeases New PHOTOS
ReplyDeleteRead AfroCandy’s solution to the Boko Haram Madness.
Let them cδ♍ε̲ home in one piece, then we will talk about the compensation. Frist things first!
ReplyDeleteLike seriously! Girls they've not seen, they're already talking about compensation. Smh. Is this what CAN should be talking about at this crucial moment?
DeleteLike I'm do disappointed in CAN, I mean y are they asking for compensation when d girls haven't even been realised? This shit us do confusing. Like seriously who are we to believe?
DeleteWhy don't we just pray and work towards finding the girls first. Already asking for damages..... Am sure there is a theory we don't understand or know yet...we shouldn't further endanger the lives of this girls plus I think BH isn't just after christians, they are basically against western education. This isn't a religious thing...
ReplyDeleteMay God grant them peace of the heart wherever they are and also answer our prayer of safe return
ReplyDeleteFinally whew! Dey sud just bring the girls back
ReplyDeleteMr CAN President, pls forget about 50million for now or scholarship we need to find those girls thats the ultimate priority for now
ReplyDelete#BringBackOurGirls joor supid bokoharam people......*Amarachi*
ReplyDeleteAre you serious???!!! So most of them are christians???! No wonder! If i had my way , i will say the northern muslims should be sent to Mali, chad, irak, sudan, all those wicked countries where wicked muslims live, this way they can live with boko harram! They are the cancer of the world!
ReplyDeleteApple you are soo shallow brained. Please go and read about the students who were slaugthered at FGC Buni Yadi and tell me if they were christains too or if the majority were christains too!!! Mtchewwwww. Its people like you who are the problem we have in naija.
DeleteApple you are soo shallow brained. Please go and read about the students who were slaugthered at FGC Buni Yadi and tell me if they were christains too or if the majority were christains too!!! Mtchewwwww. Its people like you who are the problem we have in naija.
DeleteWow so u believe most of them are Christians its an obvious lie, why will you have this amount of christians in a northern state that has been in turmoil 4 how long, and its funny the amount of hauwa we have in d list sef
DeleteHauwa is a common female name and where do you expect them to o to? They are indigenes.
DeleteFought back tears going through the list.
ReplyDeleteThis is no time to trade blames,we need expedient actions, time is going.
Can't imagine what those might be passing through by now,for no fault of theirs.
Mater Amabilis please intercede for your children.
~BONARIO~says so via NOKIA LUMIA
Bona, u really cry? Well, post ur cry-cry picture like Yomi Black make we see. No fool anyone here jor.
Delete#BringBackOurGirls and pls take our RUNZ girls.
Hmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteNot 240 again? Good to know their names.
ReplyDeleteAnother twist to the already twisted saga! The Governor and Local government chairman should come and give account to Nigerians. WTH is going on in that state?
ReplyDeleteAs for the oversea govt. scholarship, mbok that is too early biko #JustSaying
Pls are the other girls nameless. Last I checked waec has photobooks. Pls can they release their pictures as well
ReplyDeleteSo what's the way forward?
ReplyDeleteNow I understand why they were taken.. They are christians! Gosh! Now God will take up this Fight
ReplyDeleteNo no no!!!! No way this is so wrong in my opinion o,I know I was of the opinion of them publishing this names in the national dailies but on 2nd thought why would can do such??? Y even seperate the muslims frm the christians in the first place, and am here watching the presidential media chat the man is totally clueless!!! DEAR LORD JESUS NIGERIA NEEDS YOU DESPERATELY!!!! #Loyalfan
ReplyDeleteI can imagine a family having 2 or more daughters kidnapped. God, pls intervene
ReplyDeleteAnd then answers to Nigerians' questions comes up. Even though their picture are posted,I ll still nt find myself 2 believe
ReplyDelete$$k@y$$
I still maintain that the Governor knows something about it and people are busy insulting jona whatever happens to chief security officer of the state. Ada Agulu said so.
ReplyDeleteI know for sure that the girls are safe and would be releases soon in peace and not in pieces IJN
ReplyDeleteNow all those avin second tot can av several seats at tbs stadium
ReplyDeleteI dont understand dis people, instead of thinking about how to bring back our girls home, they sayin nonsense "majority of them Christians" is dat wot we shuld be discussing now mtcheew. They want to start another war btw Christians n muslims ba...looking at the names u cnt evn say how many are muslims or Christians...I just dey find them and return home safely
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, my thoughts exactly, they want to start a religious war or wat?, the list gan looks fake, even jonathan was saying 80% of them are Christians on national t.v
DeleteGood, but still need pictures to know n identify them when I get to the forest with mama peace. Join the movement BH #GiveUsOurGirls# the numbers of this girls are flu...... Hmmm some1 is playing with 9ja
ReplyDeleteThis is our worst nightmare...a lullaby which would not make the baby sleep soundly but cry his eyes out. This children don't deserve this. Their parents don't deserve this. Nigerians don't deserve this. They should release this children in the name of anything they hold precious to themselves, hale and hearty. This is just too much! This is just too much. And now the doubting Thomases...!
ReplyDelete**I just hope dey find them n return home safely
ReplyDeletePlease we are all Nigerians! Why should CAN bring religion into this? what about the over 80 Muslim girls involved? Lets bring every girl home
ReplyDeleteI jst cnt imagine wat ds girls will b going through! I luk at my beautiful baby girls everyday n keep wondering wat i'll do if it were they.. Pls Lord hv mercy on us mothers and help us #bringbackourgirls.
ReplyDeletehmmmmmmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteI have a strong feeling d same people who kidnapped these girls are the same people sponsoring the campaign To bring them back # bringbackourgir ls, Just to put pressure on government. Dnt be fooled some of these politicians are dirty!
ReplyDeleteI thought they said the no. Has gone up to 276 nna me no understand dis kidnapping ishh cos everyfin seems so confusing the northern are playing politics in this kidnap stuff well its their biz
ReplyDeleteAm a christian o, but I dnt think dis BH ppl operates religouswise... They kill people at random. I can even say dey'v kild mor muslims dan christians since inseption
ReplyDeleteThings getting more fishy,y release names n interviews after plenty social questions about Τ̲̅Ñ’e authenticity of Τ̲̅Ñ’e story now cos dis r tins D̶̲̥̅̊α̲̅Ï„̲̅ r meant to be done few days after Τ̲̅Ñ’e abduction...still#teambringbackourgirls# tho!
ReplyDeleteWhy are we like this in this country, when has CAN become an investigation outfit, does it matter the religion of the girls. why must we put religious sentiments to all issues? with this type of attitude our journey is still very far.
ReplyDeleteThe leaders of CAN should be called to question it does not matter the religion of the girls lets all work to see how they will be released irrespective of their religion Muslim or Christian.
I think CAN organisation is really blind if all those names made mentioned are christian names.
ReplyDeleteCAN is affiliated with our politicians, it is a well known fact
CAN is just like boko haram! WHAT A STUPID THING TO DO! Christian girls, Muslims girls...whats that supposed to mean. Is Christianity not meant to be preaching love and care. Put names out...kaput. Which one is separating muslim and christian girls.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you expect boko haram to do when they see this. They take this list to the camp and call the muslim gehls....do whatever and then kill the Christians! FUCK YOU CAN and all their foolish leaders and admins!
WHAT NONSENSE!!!!
Thunder fire anybody that backs this list segregation thing! After una go go yankee dey cry say dem dey do racism!
Nos 70 n 96 re d same....poor children. ...God ll bring them safely back home
ReplyDeleteSince the people of Borno has refused to help the security agencies,am very sure the people know who BH are and where they live and operate.
ReplyDeletePls let these northerners stop pushing us backward.
They shldnt ask for compensation until d gals ar found.. that shld b deir priority
ReplyDeleteThe pictures pls, this is the hand of the rogue CAN President abi? Ok super story naija we hail thee
ReplyDeleteHow did "CAN" know these names?
ReplyDeleteWhy is CAN asking for 50million for the girls?
So "CAN" knew where the girls are all along and just kept quiet allowing Nigerian Women to cry.
Because if they don't know where the girls are how will they demand for 50Million for the girls and a trip abroad.
What are they turning Nigeria to?
There is need to investigate and Probe CAN?????????? perhaps they are the master mind behind BOKO HARAM.
because there is an insider.
ReplyDeletebecause there is an insider.
ReplyDeleteLets assume that those 180 names are Christian and the rest are Muslim. While CAN is politicizing the issue at hand. While we are still condemning the letter being written by Nyanko, Orisatjofor is also using his power to make us believe that it is along religion line.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen Nigeria being separated like this in my entire life, that is why i am proud to be from SW zone bcos every families have both Christian and Muslim living in harmony
Oh! God pls rescue this duaghters of zion.
ReplyDeleteNa wa o,is CAN trying to extort money 4rm d FG?like seriously.okay if that scholarship money is paid na who go use am?d still missing girls?oh plz come off it CAN...Linda abeg post o
ReplyDeletewith due respect and all apologies, I am not sure why Pastor Ayo Oritsejeafor or whatever his name is released these names divided by religion. Nigerians have unified in looking for these girls and all CAN do is to release a list with "the names of our daughters are...." and the names of the muslim girls are ...." This is not what I expect of a christian or any leader at all. The guy has indirectly brought in another negative dimension into the whole search. And he seems himself as a christian leader. He obviously has no interest of peace in mind. Which way Nigeria?
ReplyDelete***My name is Anonymous
Nawaooooooo
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmmm! I see
ReplyDeleteWe just want them back alive.
ReplyDeleteWhy are these names coming from CAN? y not the Nigerian state..... just asking?
ReplyDeleteWho released the list CAN or NOSCEF? Please clarify.
ReplyDeleteReally, I feel it's not the right time to talk about compensation, the government should bring these girls alive either Muslims or Christians...only God knows what they are going through.
ReplyDeleteFor that wow looks and celebrity interview, pls visit www.Lyn-nur.blogspot.com
Thank you
Pls the names am seeing are mostly muslems,so what are we saying.CAN do ur finding very well dnt bring in religion in to this sensitive issue. The earlier we exornorate Islam from this perpetraitors the better it will be.
ReplyDeleteOlodo
DeleteNorthern christians bear northern names. I was raised in the north so i should know better than you so SHARRAP!!!! islamists can be very terrible people even in school politics, offices etc. They are slow poisons. If you were close to them you would know better. Btw i learnt some of them(may be 14) escaped. I just hope they did not intentionally released their people??? (Though i shouldn't wish this for anyone sha despite the religion) GOD will judge every evil done directly or indirectly in JESUS CHRIST Name. AMEN
Delete*Staying Positive* #Bringbackourgirls
ReplyDeleteLinda eee !!! my heart is bleeding.. somebody should get in touch wit TB JOSHUA to see d missing girls .. ewo !!!! Chineke mee ebere biko !!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo sad...
ReplyDeleteAm confused as to the compensation...have the girls been released? I pray for their freedom day n night
ReplyDeleteRelease of names? what about the girls. They should bring back the girls joor.
ReplyDeleteSo the Muslim students are the ones that should have been kidnapped? Asking why they visited Chibok is bigotry at its finest... CAN, fear God o
ReplyDeleteSo sad...
ReplyDeletethis is not due process.. why is CAN the one releasing the names in a national crisis like this and not the federal government or police!!? they are christains and so??
ReplyDeletethis is not due process.. why is CAN the one releasing the names in a national crisis like this and not the federal government or police!!? they are christains and so??
ReplyDeletethey took three sisters and two more holy ghost fire will not let this monsters to rest ijn
ReplyDeleteThe focus should be finding the girls, compesations and scholarships are the least of the problems now and pls no community deserves 2 be visited , we are all Nigerians.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder if we (Nigerians) have brains at all. You are asking for compensation for people we don't know anything about their fate. Boko Haram from Day 1 clearly said that christians should leave the north and CAN is asking why did they visit a christian school? hiaan. We should put fire on GEJs pants and focus on their release rather than make irrelevant demands at this stage.
ReplyDeleteGod! Pls intervene on dis issue! Its really getting to people more!
ReplyDeleteour religion didnt segregate ppl in such kind of disastorous calamity, n we ar still sympatizing 4 any person dat is being affected by d act of such insurgent ppl.
ReplyDeleteo

ReplyDelete96 and 70 are d same names y duplicate? Don't no wat to bliv dz is getting hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI smell religion conflict in Nigeria.God pls take control.#Bringbackourgirls#Rocaloves#
ReplyDeleteI don't get why CAN keeps attributing this BH attack to religious fight. For goodness sake these people are attacking all religious group and not the Christians alone. They should grow up and stop being childish. BH attacks Nyaya and some imbeciles went ahead to say Nyaya is predominantly X-tians. It's only one who has never been to Abuja that will say such. Please we should stop playing politics with Boko haram issues and look for way forward. God help Nigeria. Bia Linda nwanyi post my comment biko.

ReplyDeleteFind them first a abeg. But wait o. Overseas university? Why are we always ignoring ringworm and looking for treatment for the touch of a housefly?
ReplyDeleteThis is fishy. I don't believe it.
ReplyDeleteEnough of all dis madness christian or Muslim all we what is for u to bring back our girls
ReplyDeleteWhat is this? Christian n muslim list? This shd b d least of our concerns rather we shd focus our attention on bringing each girl back alive. Btw, for those who said most of d names r muslim names, y'all shd learn d@ notherners r named d@ way d names r nt peculiar to muslims
ReplyDeleteAs a broadcaster, with the series of report at hand,BOKOHARAM group have definately killed more christian. Am a muslim so am very sure about what am saying.
ReplyDeleteA big Shame on CAN, instead of them to be organizing fasting and prayers for the release of the girls they are busy bringing religion into this issue, they just want FG to give them the money so that they will share it,spiritually empty set of people
ReplyDeleteAm surprised, at trying time we are talking muslim and christian girls instead of talking abt souls.why is CAN inciting the public to another national calamity if people term this to be a religious war.BH are no respecter of nigerians, they are enemies of nigeria.it is a common war we should all rise up to.BH is a matter of time.
ReplyDeleteFG needs to put ransome on any information that will lead to the abducted girls.
ReplyDeleteall of you govt, CAN, pastor Ayo etc, will all die a painful death, your waterloo is on the way
ReplyDeleteIs it just me that thinks something is fundamentally wrong with CAN asking for money and privileges at this time when over 200 girls are still missing. Shouldn't CAN be busy praying and fasting. Pls help me ask Minister of Christian affairs what he wants to do with and how did his calculations arrive at N50m. Oritsejafor do your work o!
ReplyDeleteMay God b wit dem where eva dey r..we r one!! God bless nigeria.
ReplyDeleteCan u imagine? Wat bullshit. Wat are they even canning. Already seperating d girls n asking 4 damages, hmmmm, something is fishy.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to blive d so-called CAN president had d gut to say BH visited chibok bcz dy r 90% Christians. Its a federal government sch and not community secondary sch for crying out loud. Ppl shd tink and stop being biased so dt we can move forward. *Meah*
ReplyDeleteCan u imagine bullshit? Wetin dem dey even can sef? Already looking 4 damages Hmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteThese CAN guys are one of the most low-lifed people in this country. They're always diving every damn thing with sentiments. What the f? We are talking very important issues that concern human lives here and all this association of old men can do is divide people more so that lives can be lost or what?
ReplyDelete#americawillknow what this christains are doing in borno...#bringbackourgirls though
ReplyDeleteCAN!!! Is BH. Is the course of the crisis in the north. There aim is to reduce the number o Muslim bcos of election. Or for election not to hold. But sha! I wish Nigeria all the best.
ReplyDeleteI am surprise that some parents could be that insensitive and stupid to keep their kids in such a volatile state. I blame them for afflicting pains on their kids. No sane parent will keep those kids in such an unsecured environment.
ReplyDeleteI pray that God should keep them.

Dis CAN president iz funny, compenstion ke y d gurls are still missin &y d discrimination wat iz he tryin 2 preach?I think d man knws beta sha.
ReplyDeleteLike seriously I pray they're not torturing dis girls,d government shld just give them what they want o jare.
ReplyDeleteIf I had my way, I will ban religion not in toto though. Why is CAN try to upset a pot that is already sitting delicately on the fire place?
ReplyDeleteMmmmm... CAN, so what do you have to say about the Buni Yadi students who who had their throats slit while they slept? The last time I checked, those babies were muslim students.Plus CAN aint you current news wise or what? For we all know boko haram unleashes terror all over. So was up with the 'they went to Chibok cause its a christain community?' Religion, the bane of Nigeria, the main cog in the wheel of our progress. Nigerians wake up, put religious sentiments aside or we shall forever remain stagnant. Meanwhile as we debate on our abducted baby girls and get carried away arguing over what CAN has published, Deizani's private jet issue is being gradually swept under the carpet!
ReplyDeleteBRING BACK OUR GIRLS! SPREAD THE WORD ON YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE EVERYONE. BRING BACK OUR GIRLS!
ReplyDeleteSome pple are so ignorant. If u can read and write, I will say u went to school but, instead of passing thru d sch, d sch passed thru them. Why can't we some together as one in unity so we can see progress in dis country? It is sad that we have allowed our so called leaders to brainwash us with their selfish scams. Now CAN is asking for compensation. One will start having funny thots over such demands even b4 d gals r freed. Haba! Wake up, Naija pple.
ReplyDeleteFrom 300 to 234 and now 180! Eh jaaah.
ReplyDeleteThese names are suspect! Who validated the authenticity of this list? Buhari abi?!
So the "missing girls" are now Christians? But the mothers who marched on to Aso Rock were MUSLIM. So Christian women wear hijab abi? PWEEEEEEEWWW! This is nothing but propaganda.
Why would CAN be bringing religion to this issue, CAREFULLY selected Names with christian Names in the front. this is a general problems and NOT RELIGION. I Pray for their Freedom and safety. May ALLAH PUNISH BH and their SPONSORER.
ReplyDelete#bringourgirlsback
ReplyDeleteCAN well done for dis I pity those of u insulting them, muslims are killing christians simple... Nd they will pay for it
ReplyDeleteonyx godwin you are very sick u need help.
ReplyDeleteAm so disappointed by CAN .........am very much suspecting them for the attack in the north. see thier statement "
ReplyDelete"Chibok is 90% Christians. Majority of the girls abducted are Christian! Why did Boko Haram visit Chibok Local Government? Why didn’t they visit so many other Local Government Girls Secondary Schools in Borno State?” Let me tell you why they choose those girls. because muslim girls were killed and kidnapped and the media refused to hear their voices..........shame on you CAN.
Nigerians need to read in between the lines. CAN did nothing wrong, just about 10 of the girls abducted were Muslims. These people are very familiar with the movement of BK, rather than blame government for the skeletons in our closet we should question how it got there in the first place. When there was a threat to bomb the LAW School Abuja the best advice we got was anyday Muslim students were absent from class, take to ur heels and run without looking back. After all even in abduction investigations abroad the first step to take is usually posting pictures of the victim around or is it possible to find a person without a face. CAN tackled what borno people refused to do.
ReplyDeleteAnon saying muslims are slow poisons bla, bla, bla, the president your brother is the slowest poison of all. Would you be nice enough to explain why as a xtian he does not care about the abducted girls who CAN says are 90% xtians? Gullible moron na hin u be.
ReplyDeleteBecause ur family members r nt involve; dis is pure christians n Muslims no fool should say anything abt d CAN president; y is d governor nt saying or doin anything; U christians in Nigeria r big fools; stay dere make monkey dey answer ur names
ReplyDeleteWow so u believe this publication, obviously its a lie, how will the girls be more of christians than muslims in an islamic state that has been In turmoil for so long, and how many huawa, esther, deborah and mary can u have in one set
ReplyDeleteWaec should have been in a better position to release names and not CAN na wa oo.
ReplyDeleteAm just feel for these innocent girls. Their names has just been released after they have been molested. I believe the arranging is after their virginity for power and they will be released after their evil acts. May Almighty God spark His thunder on all that are involve in this evil act IJMN.
ReplyDeleteThis story get k leg
ReplyDeleteI believe CAN is insinuating that chibok was attacked because there are more Christians in the school. This is quite an insensitive comment coming from CAN. We were first born as human beings; boys and girls before we knew what Muslim or Christian was. Very soon CAN would tell us that only Christians board vehicles from Nyanya park. This is a national disaster. Whether Muslim or Christian, we are all affected by the boko haram menace, some more than others no doubt. As a Muslim, I go to places and when people realize m a Muslim, they begin to wonder if I have bombs or not. These so called boko haram members who claim that western education is bad have forgotten that even the Quran tells us to go as far as china to seek knowledge. It is obvious that some people are fighting senseless wars against Nigeria and using the Quran as a weapon. The Quran doesn't tell Muslims to kill Christians.
ReplyDelete@ Apple u ar a fool a big one, u and ur family should be called cancer of world
ReplyDeleteAnonymous @ May 5, 2014 at 12:23 PM, I have double checked. No name appeared twice on the list. Pls always cross-check ur facts.
ReplyDeleteCAN should please go and present this list to Mr. President and his kitchen cabinet (Kema Chikwe inclusive) who are insinuating that there was no kidnap in the first place. At least that should give the president the impetus to act. Moreso since CAN President is Mr. President's (GEJ) man-friday he would at least now believe that the girls have been kidnapped and need to be rescued.
Do we seriously have to make this a religious issue? Irrespective of the girl's religious affiliation, the most important thing is that they are Nigerians, and they should be found, so CAN should shit up and take a back seat.
ReplyDelete@ anonymous. You are very stupid. Are the missing girls not students or You think their names are not documented? Nonsense being like You .
ReplyDeleteI tire for Nigeria my country. It is so sad to see the divisions along religious and tribal lines.
ReplyDeletethis sucks ...CAN
