The guy who tweeted live photos of soldiers has been released

The guy who tweeted live photos of soldiers during the Boko haram escape attempt on Sunday March 30th has been released days after he was picked up by the SSS. @Ciaxon was reportedly released late last night to his family but because there was no visual confirmation of his release, some activists stormed the Lagos office of the DSS this morning to protest, demanding his immediate release. Pics from the protest after the cut...

This Govt acts before thinking, what did they gain from his arrest?
With each passing day this govt keeps getting itself in the bad books of Nigerian youths.
It was Omojuwa the other day, then Ciaxon, who's next.

  22. Nice one! This is how a country should act. UNITY is the word of the day. We can move mountains if we rally round and protect against injustice, courrption, inequality etc before we do that, it'll be wise to get BBC involved for coverage and also to name & shame some people. This will wake them up.

  32. Its good to know that the nigerian youths are now beginning to see the light. They are now aware of what is politically happening around them. I can't wait to watch us take that next step, which is to rightly take what is ours. The cooperation, unity and solidarity amongst the youths is essential in achieving our goal.
I want to thank the media, most especially bloggers, editors and the press for the role they played in the release of ciaxon.this shows where's there's cooperation nothing is impossible or unattainable.

  35. That's great! If Nigerian youth can be proactive and use FOI bill very well rather than using abuse and insult, things will move better. Unity of purpose for a common cause will help this country to go forward. Let continue to use what ever is available to us within the law. Let our legislators put the necessary laws in force. God bless Nugeria.

  46. There are things that when done is a breach of National security, and twitting life pictures of soldiers fighting a terrorist group is one of them.we don't need their faces broadcasted to the whole world as they face enough treats as it is.its obvious he needed to be picked up and be questioned of his motives. This is part of what is done when there is a perceived threat to a country's security, it doesn't just apply to Nigeria.People should please take note, not all informations are meant to be broadcasted.
