    3. Seriously Linda why do u allow this? How can someone who's lived a greater portion of her life in the UK have a 'fake accent'? This is not fair oh Linda, I ask again 'where do you get them from?' To think that someone who's had a major traumatic experience would be interested in forging a fake accent?

    4. Evil people.Trolls.How can someone be going through this and all you can think about is the accent?Heartless creature!

    1. I think she meant that the police had made it seem like she was making up the story of her being followed by some1 in a niquab.

    2. Thanks for that observation, I could not make sense of the title of this report to what she narrated.

    3. When the news first broke, police were investigating her. They took her laptop and said she was suspected of pouring the acid on herself to gain popularity because another model was attacked with acid and she was always on tv and Naomi was searching her on her laptop a while before her own acid attack. They said she made up the story of someone in hijab pouring the acid on her. Search Linda's blog, she posted news of those allegations too. ......Just Me

I can imagine the stupid and funny questions the police will be asking her simply cos of her skin colour, the doubt is created already. Sorry dear Naomi, wish u all the best dear.

  23. Too many illiterates in this country! It's unbelievable! 1st some1 said she has a fake accent, are u friggin kiddin me? Can't blame u, when na dem Naija OAP's fake n confused accents Una dey listen to that's why Naomi's accent sounds fake to you, lmao.. now on to d issue of people not taking time to listen and comprehend just 2mins speech!! How did u guys go thru skool??? She said insult to injury not salt to injury duuuuuh!! What she meant by that was the fact that when the incidence 1st occurred, the Police didn't believe her narration of the events especially the fact that she said she saw some1 in a black hijab. They probably thot d event had made her mental and so she couldn't give a right account of what really happened, now that's an insult on some1 who was actually the victim. In the end the police final conclusion and findings on the matter corroborated what she had narrated in the beginning which they kinda dismissed making her feel like a psycho. Now that's the insult upon injury! She was assaulted and yet they had the guts to make her feel like she didn't know what she was saying when she was narrating her side of the story.. it is well ooo all the naija people wey no fit comprehend simple n straightforward issues. Later dem go siddon there dey abuse d government that has a gazillion matters to analyse and address.. hian!

  30. dear Naomi...take heart..u shld hv known dat d police would not treat your case like d way de would hv handled it if it was a white person. ur skin color made dem not to believe u initially.. dats to let u know dat u are not one of us even if ur born here/hv d british passport..This is wat blacks esp Nigerians abroad havin d british passport fail to undstnd. When u ask dem where are u from?..d answer is...''Am british ''..whats ur name?..de will call one Igbo or Yoruba name for u..den finally say but my parents are Nigerians...wat are pity..dey hv forgotten dat citizenship is by naturalisation ist bfor by birth.

  31. So many dumb people on the internet space these days. what is fake about her accent? for y'all village idiots that have not lived outside your villages, pls stop embarrassing yourselves and shut your pie hole. As for the idiot that said she has lived in the UK for 14 years, i'm sorry you have a rather slow brain.

and for all the idiots abusing the Nigerian Police, this incident happened in the UK, then again, i can't blame you because English is still rocket science to you.
Stop having a mental block about English Language.

for the slower ones here, what she meant by insult to injury is that the police din't believe her story abt someone in a hijab following her, thinking she must have made up the story.

  38. @sexymoi. my dear, u didn't hav to take it personal and call him/her a 'big fool' cos of the 'fake accent' comment. we all know how we how backs in general tend to adopt
/force an accent the moment we travelled out. and wen you say 'opportuned', some of us hav travelled out and see no big deal living there. there's still a lot of rascism and they treat you like dirt cos of your skin and try to impress on you everytime that you are inferior. please lets try to get things straight and not act like living abroad is all that. @ naomi, may God strengthen you.
