Graphic photos: Months old dead baby found near UNILAG canal

A dead baby girl was found this evening around 5.25pm by UNILAG canal close to the main gate of the school in Akoka, Lagos. The baby, dressed and wearing diapers, was already dead when people noticed and brought her out of the canal. Ants were seen all over her body. Such an unbelievably heart-wrenching sight. See it after the cut...*viewer discretion advised*

    Dnt knw if its dis same baby but we found one infront of ma friend's Mum shop close to Unilag back Gate (DLI) Iwaya road to be precise, we called 911,after taking over 10hrs, dey cam nd said there is nothing dey could do cos d baby was already dead.#OnlyInNijaoooo........dey actually went back leaving d baby. Only 4 me to wake up d next day going to d office nd discovered dat the baby wasn't there anymore. :( pple are just heartless. I dnt knw what kind of human will do such. If d baby is dead, y not bury instead of exposing to the world:( am so sad cos only God can judge who did dis. Where some pple are looking for baby over 20years. Mshewwww......#pissed.

    Ohhhhhh! God dey sha! He see's everything. I'm here praying since how many years to have babies and someone did this to a baby! God will never forgive this person! Since u allowed ants to feast on this child somethings more than ants will feast on you! This world is so unfair! How can a mother be so heartless? How can a person be so wicked, what level of cruelty is this? This tears I shed this morning for this woman that did this to this little girl I've been spending millions just to have but haven't succeeded, may it work against her all the days of her miserable life!
