Which Nigerian icon can pass away and such farewell/homage/respect will be accorded by the Nigerian's as the South African's to Mandela. Hmmmmmm...cant think of any. Our so called "leader's" should do more of making positive impact on the lives of Nigerian's than bagging money. A word is enough 4 d wise.

ReplyDelete~ALATISHE say so~
Finally there goeth an extremely great man whose good nature sliced through religion, race, sports, politics, showbiz, education etc....sadly the unique standards he set might never be met or attained by our money and power driven world leaders...adieu father, grandfather and greatgrandfather of many nations.
ReplyDeleteYou'll always be remembered. RIP Madiba!
ReplyDeleteAlas! One of the biggest trees in the forest had fallen!
ReplyDeleteHe sure lived a Fulfilled life
ReplyDeleteDeath is inevitable. It's a pity it's a debt we all owe.We have to go someday!
ReplyDeleteAs soon as you die, your identity becomes a "body". People start using phrases like "bring the body","take the body to the grave","lower the body in the grave" etc. People you tried to impress stop calling you by name. Live a life to impress your Creator, not the created.
Take chances, spend money on things you love, laugh till your stomach hurts, dance even if you are too bad at it,pose stupidly for photos.
Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is when life dies inside you while alive.
