Word Up Vol. 6 will feature Ali Baba & Yeancah Adamu as celebrity poets

Word Up, the biggest Spoken Word Poetry Platform in Nigeria comes to town again this November 2013. This edition tagged, Word Up Volume 6 is scheduled for November 23, 2013 from 2pm at TerraKulture Hall, Tiamiyu Savage Crescent, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria with the theme, "Stop the violence.".

The event theme is centered on the United Nation’“International day for the elimination of violence against women.”  Continue...

Then come December 15, 2013, we will have our Slam Poetry Competition - War Of Words 2.  On that day, 16 poets will go head to head live on stage. The 16 poets were chosen from a total of 22 video submissions and the videos came from all over Nigeria particularly Lagos, Abuja and Calabar.
