“We Since it's launch in in October 2012, Nikon has increased its distribution of warrantied goods across all market segments. It has also set up a service centre on the ground to provide much needed support to Nikon users, including professional photographers, who have been craving additional maintenance services and resources from the company.

While addressing the crowd, Joe McNally – an elite member of Nikon Professional Services (NPS) – remarked on the durability and reliability of Nikon cameras and discussed the benefits of Nikon’s support structure. NPS is a Nikon-led organization for qualified, full-time professional photographers who earn their living using Nikon equipment. It provides members with advice, assistance and educational sessions on various photography-related topics.

McNally has been shooting for the National Geographic Society since 1987 and his works are valued across a number of well-recognized publications including Sports Illustrated, Times, Newsweek, Geo, and Fortune.  He explained that as a photographer for the National Geographic he puts his cameras and equipment through very harsh conditions and Nikon has continuously performed throughout his career.

Local photographer Kelechi Amadi Obi echoed his sentiments and commended the company for establishing a presence in Nigeria. With 24 years of experience under his belt, Kelechi Amadi Obi has braved through many years of scrutiny, where photography was frowned upon as a profession and through it all, taught himself the art of the business, making him an inspirational role model to many others who are aspiring to succeed in this trade.

Nikon’s current range of product offerings in Nigeria is the strongest yet. During the event, attendees had a chance to learn tips and tricks about the flagship model D4, the full frames D800 and D600 as well as the very latest addition to the family, the D7100.

Nikon is distributed and marketed in Nigeria by New Creation Worldwide Link Nigeria Ltd. offering twelve (12) months warranty on cameras and accessories with Service Center and Showroom located in 22 Opebi Road, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
