  17. Its believable. It used to be the norm in many parts of Africa. Not everyone has reached the stage of enlightenment, witch is sad. Especially in this 2013 with so much technology and resources. You'd effec expect more people to be educated. Smh

  38. Primitive cultural practices such as this twins killing, isnt just restricted to that part of nigeria only. Other parts of nigeria also have their own funny practices going on in their domains. What can we say about the child witch persecutions/killings in some parts of southern nigeria?. Where little kids are tortured into confessing witchcraft. So sad!! You also got here in some parts of nigeria/northern ghana, old women and some young women but majority are old women who are accused of witchcraft. They are ostracized from the communities they have known all their lives. They are sometimes tortured/humiliated and killed. Just because they act funny or look weird/haggard and this could could be due to poverty or plain simple neglect/mental illness. Many times the poor women are blamed for bad things which occur in their communities. No one bothers to find out if these old women might be suffering from some kind of mental illness like dementia or depression that makes them confess what they didnt do. Vaginal mutilation/female circumcision in parts of nigeria/west africa ko? The people who remove the clitoris say its to make the female less promiscuous.Imagine!! The question i ask is why in the first place did God the creator put it there? My guess is, for pleasure but some people think it shouldnt be there. What am just trying to say is that bad cultural practices are wide spread in nigeria/africa not just only restricted to one area like in the clip. In my opinion, customs are so hard to let go off just like that by the adherents of these customs thats the bitter truth. They always say their practice is to advert disaster. Am like ok fine but come isnt nigeria enough disaster as it is? It is well.
    The good nigerian

  39. My dear Linda, is this place really in Abuja, Nigeria? God will judge all these so called people who have ruled and still ruling us. The people in this village are only remembered during election. NO BASIC AMENITIES, INNOCENT TWINS ARE KILLED, WOMEN DELIVER BABIES ON THEIR OWN, meanwhile we have a government. Nigeria has really failed her citizens.

  40. Linda..........please stop posting all this gory/ sadististic news on your lovely blog. This is not what we want to read after a hard days work Abeg.

Create a separate blog for that cuz this stuff is becoming unbecoming. I have never bothered to watch any of these videos and I won't start now. As much as you want to create awareness, it's not everyone that wants to read that stuff. Please move it to the side or create another window for it or whatever.

  41. Wat a life, how cld God bless u with a pair of twins, only for them to be seen as sacrificial lambs; its not only a shame but demonic, infact i think it is satan worship. Those people shld be eradicated and may d souls of these innocent ones rest well.

  42. Can u believe the chairman of dat community saying he doesn't knw they hav such custom?he shd better stoplying nd do somefin abt it.This country is full of disgusting things.

  43. Men in loin cloths? This is a huge disgrace for Nigeria. Thank God for channels tv, bringing light to the many issues facing this country while oga presido at the top remains completely clueless. I think the local council chairman almost had an "oga at the top" moment but quickly recovered. 100m to this community monthly, and they live in mud huts? Salaries paid to who and for what functions? We are throwing the future of our children away with our greed and corruption. If we all send our children abroad and ignore the issues within us, what will become of Nigeria when the oil is gone(within the foreseeable future if i might add). I weep for this country

  44. N we ask y africa is so backwards? Wen d blood of innocent infants is spilled on the land n it cries for justice all day, y wont Gods wrath b visited upon d land? Namsy

  45. I commend those set of missionaries, they have tried their bit,its obvious Christianity has not taken root here with this barbaric practice still in place!
Now,where are all dose so called MOGs that come to disturb pple that are already saved in their houses to get born again when there are pple not too far from dem that actually need help!its a pity.

  46. A Country where the government is doing anything to develop his people and the society, things like this most continue to exist. Chanels TV is a private settings the government chanels in Nigeria can never broadcast this type of news, they don't want us to be educated I fear this our leaders ohh. God bless our individual effort in nigeria.
