Omotola Jalade Ekeinde landed in New York today to meet a welcome party organized by Nigerians living in New York. The beautiful mother of four is in New York for the Time 100 Gala which will take place tonight at the Lincoln Center.

    I am sincerely happy for Omotola but I don't get what the noise and song is about. The way this is, one will think she's the first Nigerian to make the Time list. Fela Anikulapo, Chinua Achebe, Pastor Adeboye have all been on that list. Even the not quite inspiring President Toughluck Azikiwe Jonathan was on it last year or 2.Its a great achievement, no doubt, but this fanfare leaves me puzzled...
