Meanwhile a 68 year old grandma, Mrs Evelyn D. Lawson, from Bogeme in Rivers State, auditioned yesterday. See her photo after the cut...
Mrs Lawson came to the stage as the third contestant. The elderly woman who was supported by her two sons wonderfully sang the ‘Glory be to God’ song and got three “yeses” to go through to the next round. The judges and the audience were impressed with her performance and her courage to still sing at the age of 68.
Pls linda, when is it aired on tv..thanks..and good work dear!
ReplyDeleteAm soo jealous of toolz!she's making d money mehn..
ReplyDeleteToolz being the Host is the best choice, as for the judges, K.K.A (ko kan aye), since the winner would be decided by viewers votes.
ReplyDeleteReggie rockstone is a musician but not much of a biggie
ReplyDeleteyea...me like the choice of judges and host
ReplyDeleteEverything goes in Naija!!Weldone Mama.I Love d fact dat Onyeka is part of d judges.
ReplyDeletemr incredible to all of u
ReplyDeleteWhere and when can we watch dis...I mean tv stations and tym plz...thanks
ReplyDeleteEwwwwwww..........toolz as host? Now I can't watch d show without feeling nauseous. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteWhen is it aired nd wat stations
ReplyDeleteTwo rappers? Like seriously???? Una don KOLO
ReplyDeleteis there a youtube link we can go n watch?
ReplyDeleteLinda ooooo u no go kill me, its BUGUMA not BOGEME. lol
ReplyDeleteOh my!!!!!, the Elegant Onyeka doesn't look so happy in this pic. She specifically told the Organisers that she would be the only one allowed to wear shades. But clearly M.I and his rap mate broke the contract. Toolz wouldn't dare infuriate the great Onyeka. Toolz knows her place. And btw, if you comment on every update on dis blog, u obviously don't have a Life. Get a Life!.
ReplyDeleteHow did u know about this village agreement?
DeleteDon't we already have enough shows making a mockery of some talentless people……Anyways, can't wait for the entertaining auditions
ReplyDeleteYes when does it go on air
ReplyDeleteWrong combo, having 2 rappers is a recipe for low ratings. Is it a singing or a rapping competition? Think music producers like OJB or Paul Play is more on point. With due respect to Onyeka but she seems a bit out of touch with todays music.
ReplyDeleteThen why are you on a Nigerian blog? You are clearly stupid and confused
Deletepls Linda how do I get to be auditioned? I've been waiting for the info, I don't wanna miss this chance...biko
ReplyDeleteplz, me dey get my costu e ready bcos i wan be d 1st winner of africa x factor ooooooo
ReplyDeleteAm so happy for Toolz
ReplyDeleteIs there any online or live broadcast of the Audition
ReplyDeleteExcellent choices
ReplyDeleteis it X-factor west africa? If not, then why Reggie Rockstone? could never happen in Ghana...crazy naija people.
ReplyDeleteThat's why u shallow minded bitch need 2 back 2 ur village. As naija, we no dey come last oh!
DeleteTwo rappers n a singer is not ok jor! Would have loved MI, onyeka n omawumi to b d judges. Btw linlin what time is it aired on tv?
ReplyDeleteSee my wife up there in the first photo (with her nice lips and perky boobs)....hmmmnn...Toolz
ReplyDeleteToolz has perky boobs? R u blind??
Deleteabeg y Toolz come chest out 4dat pishure???
ReplyDeletecongrats to them.
ReplyDeleteLinda!!!!!! 2 comment lataro....where's our comment now
ReplyDeleteO!M!G!!! THESE IS ENCOURAGING. WAOO!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood.
ReplyDeleteLinda it is not about two rappers and a singer, it its about who has an understanding of music. some people can make catchy music but do not really understand the concept of music, while some can not sing to save their life, their knowledge of music is mind blowing.
ReplyDeleteOk
ReplyDeleteCongrats to them.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to them.
ReplyDeleteAnother experienced singer or music produce would have been good. Mayb d rapper has a good knowledge of music sha
ReplyDeleteYeah. Combination, not too good.
ReplyDeleteLinda, Simon Cowell and LA Reid are judges on X Factor US, Nicki Minajis a judge on American Idol. Point is, you do not need to be a "singer" to qualify as a judge. I'm sure even you can judge talent.
ReplyDeleteMr or miss anonymous , and what do you think LA Reid and Simon are into?! Selling kuilikuli? Those 2 are top most music entrepreneur and a world renowned music executive cum producer! So what's ur point in comparing their been on x-factor with the 9ja version ?!
DeleteDeaddd Lmaooooooooo@ kulikuli
DeleteGreat! Dats faith and confidence.
ReplyDeleteGreat! Dats faith and confidence.
ReplyDeleteGreat!! Dats Faith and confidence
ReplyDeleteHope this doesn't turn out as horrible as Nigeria's Got Talent did. Watched it on YouTube and was convinced that people are fucking stupid and don't vote for real talent, that show was bullshit.
ReplyDeleteX factor usually has four judges i believe. It should def have been only one rapper.
After auditions, I'll see if the show is worth it. Hopefully someone will post it on YouTube
Ahh linda you have murdered the name of my village.. it's Buguma City, Rivers state.
ReplyDeleteEyaaaa! You loose your voice with age,i know she won't win but i really admire her courage...Btw i L♥√ع the crew
ReplyDeletePretty Girl
Nice. Hope it doesn't out like the idols. That is so fucked up now. Pray something good comes out of this one in Nigeria. Amen
ReplyDeleteApart from d Rockstone guy whom I dunno,I think d selection makes sense..
ReplyDeleteToolz everywhere another person no dey?
ReplyDeleteI Love you Toolz
ReplyDeleteYou are a moving train that can't be stopped
Keep making your cash hun
Loads of love.
Love you M.I, yaron Jos.
Much respect to the Legendary Onyeka Onwenu.
Wow! We are going to enjoy Aunt Onyeka Onwenu's Command of English language. Her accent is superb.
ReplyDeleteOgazi China.
Who said Onyeka was out of todays's musics? For our information, Onyeka's "One Love" till date has no rival in all the rubbish musics put together by our so called Naija musicians, talk more of her other albums.
ReplyDeleteCheck out re collabo with King Sunny Ade the " if u love me, u go wait for me" and u will have no reason for not assenting to assent with my assessments.
It simply means that he is confused.
ReplyDeleteDon't like this combo,Nigerian idol combo def better
ReplyDeleteONYEKA ONWENU, ANYTIME ANYDAY. But for the other two, I dont know. I personally do not like d idea of havin rappers as judges on music talent shows..just me. Hope Onyeka makes up for d "loss".
ReplyDeleteI love me some Onyeka Onwenu! We are from the same place in Arondizuogu...she is a mother indeed
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to watch though.
ReplyDeletei so know ds lady, kai cnt imagine her on stage singing, wish her all d best sha, she culd barely walk...unbelievable
ReplyDeletesholary
Onyeka, M.I nd Toolz.. ghen ghe combination!
ReplyDeleteSex scandal wiTh uNder-aged teen hits M.I in abuja Hotel...
ReplyDeleteOkay so, i think some 1 like iyanya or omawunmi or even timi wuda been better as a third judge because they been up there b4 and they can understand how sometimes ur full potentials might nt be emphasised based on certain reasons giving them better judgements and they'll give more useful advices the contestants
ReplyDeleteI think efya or becca should have been chosen as the third judge instead of that rapper from GH .
ReplyDeleteSomebody, pls How do I get to contact Oyeka Owenu, I have done a work for her and am having an upcoming ar exhibition pls any one can help.
