4 Varsity students die in Ibadan auto crash early this morning

Four students - three guys and a girl - died in the early hours of this morning in an auto crash around high-court area of Ring Road Ibadan. The students were heading to Koko Dome night club for a party hosted by some Lead City students when the car they were riding in hit another car and somersaulted multiple times. The four students were said to have died on the spot. So sad. May their souls rest in peace...Amen.

  74. Lead city students or not, alot of young peeps need to be careful when driving for their own sake and for the sake of other road users. Too often do young peeps treat cars like toys. Driving under the influence, i was once guilty of this and just thank God i wasnt a victim. Young pals, be careful, stop racing your cars, dont join any convoy to anywhere, dont drive when you are high. This way, the risk of being involved in an accident are reduced. Plus, driving license should be issued to only people who are qualified. I got a driving license even before i knew how to drive. The authorities should re-evaluate issuance of licenses. RIP unfortunate young souls..

  84. Drunk driving is common in LCU, i remember when 3 of our school mates died then. Before the 10pm gate locked policy, some students will speed into the compound and be screeching round the premises making a fool of them selves (Maybe that turns the ladies on). Am a student of LeadCity but I don't drink drive nor party crazy... RIP Guys, hope the others learn.

  97. Whether they are lead city or not lead city students..its not the issue..we easily look foe excuses to console ourselves or try to imply they somehow deserved it..because its just not right for four young people to be cut off in their prime..the truth is The devil comes for three things to steal, kill or.destroy if u give him room..he targets young people because they have so much potential and they are so easily deceived by the strength of youth and carried away by his wiles..Most of us feel we will live forever but we won't..many people drink and drive and nothing happens not because they are macho men or women but because of Gods grace..we never know how much that grace is sufficient..Remember the Lord your God in the days of your youth..Accept him and let him lead you by the hand to his prepared place for you..yes we will all die someday..but with the right choice ..some deaths Can be prevented giving us more time to spend with people we love and those that love us and also to achieve our dreams..God bless you as you make the right choice today
