Finesse Entertainment's Blaqshyne hits the airwaves with new dance - Opio

For the second week running, fast-rising record label Finesse Entertainment drops another hit-bound single with the release of the dance track Opio.  The fast-paced track is the work of Finesse signee Jibril Olawale Braimoh better known as BlaQShyne. The dance single premieres today October 15 and already social networks are abuzz about the highly anticipated single.

“The secret is ‘Opio!, the energetic singer boasts. He explains that the new dance track was inspired by a street football move called ‘Opio’ where a striker is able to score a goal by distracting the defender. “The Opio dance was inspired by football, BlaQShyne states,”With lyrics like ‘Give am the Opio, the Opio, the Opio…” BlaQShyne leaves the listener with a lot to imagine.

Finesse entertainment has also released a video teaser for the dance single which shows the dance moves from the singer.

Born in Lagos and raised in Kano, BlaQShyne’s musical influences include Usher, 2Face and other R&B greats. His music has been described as a fresh and irresistible fusion of Afro-Beat and R&B. Opio was produced by Finesse’s in-house ace producer SuperSoniq and  is set to hit the top spots on the airwaves and on the dance floor.
