Another bloody Sunday as gunmen kill over 20 people in Kaduna

Unknown gunmen early this morning opened fire on people leaving a Mosque after morning prayers in a remote village called Dogo Dawa in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna, killing several people.

The gunmen also embarked on a house to house search in the area, shooting and stabbing people to death.
The Kaduna state police commissioner confirmed the incident and said troops have been deployed to the area.Villagers said at least 20 bodies were counted after the attack.

  8. This one sounds like a christian 'boko haram' attack. Christians are too cowardly to blow themselves unlike their muslim counterparts. It appears the xtians are now attacking muslims... GEJ needs to wake up! He IS SUCH A BUFFOON!! IDIOTIC STUPID LEADER!

  15. NYC-1 says: Common sense will suggest to Christians what the ripple effect of this incident will be, though they (Christians)will not do such a thing; so be on your guard.

I hiss at those who complain that Linda post only bad news on her blog. What type of news do you want to hear? You want to hear that Patience Jonathan is exercising frequently in hosptal? Those complaining are like those whose houses are burning, and they are busy pursuing rats. Nonsense!

Just to digress: Nigeria Legal System is a SHAM. I read the comments of everyone who wasted no time in justifying the Judge, bcos that is the law. My concern is: when will Nigeria Constitutional Scholars amend the constitution to make provisions for punitive punishment to these politicians whose looting has wrecked the country? Oh, please! don't tell me the provision is there. Its there only in theory, not in reality. Why is Bankole, Patricia Etteh, Farouk, Celicia Ibru, Bode Thomas, Sunday 'something'(Former Police IG), just to name a fraction, all discharged and acquitted by the Court System? So all these 'charge and bail' lawyers coming here to tell us the law, should please shut-up.

  50. I am from the village and it wasn't like the gunmen went into the mosque to shoot at them.
They were unfortunate fellows who were coming out of the mosque while the shooting was taking place
It makes a lot of sense that they could be the robbers terrorizing the village for a while now
Because they came and opened fire on the whole village
christians and muslims were among the dead .
I just hate sensational headlines, you guys know what this will cause

    ReplyDelete
  51. It can be any reliong group, since the people coming out frm the mosque were the one affected we are hiding to talk. The truts is dat muslims were killed. And who kill dem is the question we should ask not protect any faith.Remember it is also not written any where that muslems should kill. The Boko Harams we are talking about consists of christians and muslims. So stop tagging them as muslems any of them
    could be your church member.
