Aki and Paw Paw visit flood victims in Delta State

The popular Nollywood actors visited flood victims in Delta State over the weekend. The governor of the state, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan explained to newsmen why he invited the actors to meet with flood victims.
"I went to the flood victims camp one day and as I walked in, half of the population were watching TV. I tried to attract their attention. Some looked at me and greeted me, but they turned to continue watching the television. When I looked at the television, I saw it was Aki, Paw Paw and Ibu that they were watching. You see, because they were watching Aki, Paw Paw and Ibu, they forgot their pains. For them, these Nollywood actors were helping them to ease their pains. That was why I invited them to go to the different camps as motivational speakers because the victims require a lot of motivation, while they are preparing to go back home.”

  16. I can only imagine what people will say...insulting their heights and all. If u can just see what they did here without insulting the way they were created, i believe u will find peace in ur hearts. We nigerians are very callous people. dont laff at them. Yes they are small bt dey did not create demselves.

  18. But what exactly did Aki and Paw-paw come to do? To ease pain of displaced pple by cracking jokes or acting dumb? When did they become motivational speakers? How do they want to ease the pain if i may ask? Are they now miracle workers or If supposedly the pain is eased, have d problem been solved? This so-called pain easing; is it free of charge? Bcos i know dis so-called invite costs money and hence, its NOT a gratuitous service.
In my view, its just a form of payment for entertainment/services rendered and while it lasts; ALUTA Continua.. Finish

  21. Maybe they should call aki and pawpaw to America to crack jokes with victions of Super hurricane Sandra. Nonsense people, victima are being robbed and raped at shelters and you bring aki and pawapaw to do what. This people desperately need sustainable solutions to their problems and mind you their problems will only start after all this hype and media frenzy has gone down.
