Paralympics: Another Nigerian wins gold medal in power lifting

Nigerian Ivory Nwokorie today won gold in women's -44kg power lifting competition. Ivory lifted an incredible 109kg at the South Arena 3 at ExCel. Go Team Nigeria!

  15. Well done . The minister should now buy them cars like some medal winners got in was it Russia out of their stolen allowances. Or, maybe we would have some money after paying hotel porn charges. Useless officials. Can you imagine where we would be with encouragements from sports officials instead of preparing 2 months to games, competitions etc.

People shoul stop criticizing the past Olympic team...criticize ur govt dat didn't give them funds to prepare,blame all those that chopped their money and started taking the Olympians serious like few weeks before the event.rome was not built in a day,all those that won gold started preparing years back.most of the Olympians that represented ur country dont even stay in naija so u r lucky someone represented u....Biko...Linda post my comment o so some people go learn to get their fact straight before writing

And how do you expect to win when our athletes train only 6 months before while other nations start at least two years before??!!
