  3. That's an awkward way to be sitting esp with all the cellulite on her legs.

She's very pretty, but don't know what the photographer was thinking making her pose like that for a magazine cover.

  17. for once she looks feminine and really beautiful and not like a tranny.

Btw Is the gossip true that she is 'engaged' to an already married man ala Mercy and Ini?

  18. Nice photos. Shame about the tacky / cheap background of the photos. Next time, photoshop the background. Good idea.

  19. The picture to the right is a example of everything wrong with PHOTOSHOP....check out the waist, seems to have been cut out and fixed. Also, the pattern of the dress is different from that of her torso. Finally, she may not have been sitting on any couch as her hands have an unnatural contact with the platform (see her left wrist and right one too). Oh well, it used to be that pictures do not lie.....NOT ANYMORE

  21. LWKMD @ Bloglord!!! More African Americans wear natural hair than African women. There are lot more of them who wear twists, afros, locs etc and seem more proud of their natural hair and make it work than there are Nigerians.

Here is a friend's photography blog featuring a bride wearing Shuku looks great and not BUSH like some of these Nigerian women fear they will look:

    http://chocolatephotographynyc.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

AND THE SAME WOMAN AGAIN IN ANOTHER NATURAL HAIR STYLE

    http://chocolatephotographynyc.blogspot.com/2011/10/photoshoot-actress-ebbe-bassey.html

So it is possible to look amazing in natural hair do but I guess if a person lack the confidence to carry it off they have to do what make them confidence. And confidence = Sexy.

  22. LOL @ Bloglord. I hear you gurl! I keep my hair in braids as well because I refuse to put perm or any more hrash chemicals on my head or scalp and I am so glad I made that decison.

Is Stephanie Okereke a sain or are you guys just scared? What's with the boring boring boring comments? Y'all are boring today, really. Outside, it is cold, raining, and very windy. I came here to be entertained free and at someone's expense. I'm dissapointed and angry. What's happened to the ferocious commenters of LIB? Show your fangs. I love it when you lot get nasty. lol

  29. stunning-her hair is so pretty

  30. But how is it anybodys business what another person decides to do with their hair?! Human beings just confuse me. Hoowww the hell is it anyones business. Think about it. If i dont like natural hair it doesnt mean im denouncing my africanism, it simply means I DONT LIKE NATURAL HAIR.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Correct finebabe. I love Nigerian women die especially the dark skin ones,

    ReplyDelete
  32. Very very sexy african princess! I like.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well,i simply love natural hair,it's just the main human beauty,i prefer seeing a woman with her natural hair than some naive attachment.it's so artificial.

  34. Nigerians need to understand the meaning of BRAND really... if you are a brand ambassador especially for something people can see like hair, clothes and the like you live to it... i know they would come out with a crappy story that the picture was taken a long time( i would believe due to the heavy foto shop)but you are a brand ambassador for publicity and SALES...

  36. Stephanie's Black and beautiful! @Femiluv, so even with the photo shop, you can still see cellulite on her legs? Smh! As if the magazine editors would be stupid enough to allow that!

Do u expect her to wear anoda brand when she is posing for anoda even if both are from different markets?? its just like asking Drogba to wear samsung Tshirt to pose for a mag cos he is the brand ambassador for Samsung, there is a line to be drawn jaree!!!!!

  40. Oh pleeeeaaaseee...It should be illegal to photoshop someone this much. She is not even pretty...Hair, makeup and clothes all done by professionals..She has been known to have a very poor fashion taste. All these actresses are just opportunists. Very few are talented like Genevieve.
