Muma Gee's traditional wedding to Prince Eke took place on Tuesday December 20th at Odiabidi Town, Upata Kingdom, Ekpeye Land, Ahoada East LGA in Rivers State. More photos when you continue...
Congrats on ur trad weddn. The cake concept is so nice, first time I'm seeing it. Very colourful and glamourous weddin. But(whisper), how many years warranty? I'm asking cos the class difference is just so so obvious. Hope humility will play a role in ur marital life
loooooool....I laugh in yoruba. I don't know which is even funnier, the cake or the damn emotionless look on the couple? Wishing them the best regardless.
no offense she looks old enough to be his mom, but i wish them the best, this is like ashton and demi all over again, lets see how it plays out, may God bless their marriage.
I really didn't have the slightest idea that muma gee is getting married, after all this stars hidden marriages,i thought her's wouldn't be any differences.
This guy denied it a million times on FB that he has nothing to do with Muma Gee and even fought it out with folks on his friend list that they just friends.....wonder what changed between then and now. Friends sure do become lovers :)
hmmm Muma Gee, i like u ooo , but the beast you would have done for yourself was get a good makeup artist to dress you up and then pack you hair nicely... plenty things dangling aroung the head gear , the hair, the beads on the neck and hands just too many
Congrats Muma Gee and Prince Eke, Wishing you two, only the very best that marriage has to offer. May God bless your Marriage. Enjoy your Marriage. *Dancing along with you*
I recall reading in this blog a story where chioma reduced this lady to tears just because she was not married, so now what will that uncouth Chioma Chukwuka say? At least Muma Gee is quite proud of showing off her hubby, same with newly weds like Aki, Ini, Dakore, Mercy or long term weds like Omotola,Joke Silva and so on their hubbys are well known,so why do you hide yours? your marriage aint so perfect? Not proud of Akpotha your hubby? What you said was awful and it really depressed this lady. Be careful cus Karma is a b#tch
I dislike people who use their marriage status to insult singletons as if they are inferior beings. Singles (that desire marriage *cus not all are interested in marriage*) arent single by their own choice, besides in His time he makes ALL things beautiful and WILL supply all needs.
muma an happy for you. happy married life congrats to you both, i love the fact that you got yourself a tear rubber husband no woman coming to claim you snatched her husband high five jare you get taste a real woman you are GOD BLESS your marriage to prince eke i wish you happiness, marital bliss you will forever enjoy the joy of motherhood GOD bless you and your husband well well amen i love you and dakore egbuson una dey classy and unique.
Ehen..You will soon hear that this one too went to drag the guy out of his wifes arms to come and marry her....Congrats Muma...make you no talk say i no wish you well!
Her dressing is so tacky, head tie no fine blouse no fine ,wrapper too full waist, shoe nah zero even though they are expensive but she should ve sought for make up artist to help her out,her husband even looks younger and more presentable for d occasion but dis muma gee outlook looks like an old woman dressing for grandchild party *surprised*
Muma Gee I wish you & yours happy wedlock & wonderful children. I Love your style regardless of some dumb comments haters put up. I think you're an epitome of real African woman & this shows in the cultural glamour displayed in your wedding. Tasteful indeed. I like your hubby looks too & I think he's a lucky man if you truly're in love with him...best wishes
too outlandish a style--too many dangling things, too heavy a wrapper waist....
stil i wish u all the happiness and i hope that silly Chioma girls(who i'm sure has realised by now that marriage is not a bed of roses and the status adds no real value to a human being) can see that everyone will get her man in God's own time!!
Happy Married Life/everlasting friendship/lifelong partnership!!
but why are people like this na? u no see husband marry, dem yab u.... u con see husband marry dem go still con yab u again!!! Which one be she looks older than him, her make-up is kurukere, he denied her etc... can't we just be happy for her? ogaju!!! happy married life Muma Gee!!!!
Dear Linda Ikeji, my name is Yvonne & i currently live in Cameroun. I have been married to prince Eke since 2001 and we have 5 kids. We used to live in Jos until prince ran away. He has been threatening me so i kept shut. Now, i am ready for him. I have forwarded some documents and pictures to yr email to prove this. Meanwhile, everyone can grab a copy of Sun Magazine for further details. Gan gan gan gan! ! ! !
To those childish people demanding to see emotions on the faces of the couple – perhaps and I suspect that you belong to an owambe culture where anything goes. Not so for people from decent cultures of the South-South. A traditional marriage is no place to start showing “romantic” emotions on your face. It is considered disrespectful to your parents for you to start showing romantic love to your spouse at your marriage ceremony. First, it shows that you don’t have respect for your elders, and second exposes that you have been having sex before marriage which is a disgrace to your families and an act that attracts a fine.
A traditional marriage is not a you-may-kiss-the-bride event, it is a serious family affair as the man’s family is actually doing the marriage i.e. his father is marrying a wife for him. So, those ignorant comment show that they come from a culture where married women abandon their husbands and children to go partying all weekend without wearing any panties. It’s advisable to study other people’s cultures so that you don’t end up talking rubbish.
Secondly, love is not something you show on the face. It is something you act out. The measure of love is a couple who make a commitment to be husband and wife in front of family and friends. That’s love. Love is not gazing into eyes or kissing. Neither is it in poetic declarations of love. Love is actually what you do. That’s how some people will get married with all the aw photos and be at each other’s throats 3 months later. Have we not see it all – Soul E and Queen Ure, Alibaba and Patricia? How did they end up after all the in-love expressions on their faces? While some other people seriously make a commitment and stay together all their lives.
As for anonymous 12.51pm. I feel sorry for you at your level of ignorance of other people's culture. News flash: what the couple is wearing is THEIR OWN traditional outfits which is not for you to judge based on what you think is appropriate according to your own culture. I'm seriously tired of the ignorance and insensitivity in this country.
That's how some idiots in now defunct Next Newspaper did a fashion analysis of President Jonathan and decided that he needed a stylist. Why, because he wears the native attire of his homeland. In their view - the Yoruba goats - who wrote that trash, he doesn't know about armani suits or those tacky Ankara agbada that Obasanjo (whom they did no fashion analysis of) used to wear.
Everybody loves an Ijaw man's oil, but nobody wants to see an Ijaw dressing. Everybody loves Ijaw oil money, but nobody wants to see an Ijaw man as President. This country ... there's no mutual respect and no foundation for being together.
@Annon December 23, 2011 10:04AM Thank you! Nigerian bitches..I mean women do that shit alot. Looking down on others because they are not married. They forget that tomorrow they could be single again due to widowhood. Naija men don't live that long anyway so the chances of the average naija woman becoming a widow by the time she hits 60 is quite high. They make it seem like they are married to some immortal human who never dies.
i said it before, i will say it again. THEY WONT LAST. they are not marriage materials. very sorry to say this again. when the time comes, we all will see.
he will soon leave her. she is way to old for him. marriage is not the cloths, cake, guest or the date of the wedding; its a life time thing. he will soon realise he is very young for her. watch n see
Why are Nigerians hard and wicked on the girl child. If she is not raped/abused as a maid she is deceived with money by the boys who use her helpless poor state & vulnerability for their selfish end. If she is not pushed and pressured into marriage with incompatible partners just to be married like others she is mocked while in her thirties and married. She finally holds on and finds the man that is compatible with her and she is being insulted. When will some of us leave negative/evil thinking. I love my country but sometimes the myopic & shallow way of thinking of some of us disgusts me to the point of hatred.
anons 10.04 for that single reason i loathe chioma...wt her big mouth like a cow...she showed how uncouth she is and never seem to get over t...never a fan of hers ever since.....yes now that she's married what has she got to say?? afterall she picked her own man whether she's older or not...she dd not break anybody's marriage soo???? how many times has she shown her damn husband to the public? i watched her gus show and felt so sorry for whoever her husband is and wonder how her n-laws cope.....shame on u chioma...na me talk am go jump for lake
Wow that Muma Gee looks about my mothers age and I am 33! Which pregnancy are people seeing...kmt...she has passed menapause! Not even IVF can help the case! I dont understand why older women like her are marrying young men? I am sorry for Nigeria it looks like anything can happen there so it doesnt surprise me!Marriage to some people has no value anymore, nowadays women with money are just buying themselves toyboys and marrying them whilst the single young women are left on the shelf to salvage whatever they can find!
The guy dressing in such a hot weather be as e get! The guy also looks inferior to the lady as if na arrangee kind of marriage. Anyway sha many ladies like to catch small boys and polish them to marry them! Otherwise tell me which kind yeye love go exist between Muma Gee and this long small boy! It is showing all over him!!!! By Ted
Can you see, this life is turn by turn.Today Muma G is married nest week another sister is going to get married. Now Chioma Apotha should go jump into the lagoon for being bitchy. Recalled how she boasted , and how she tried to break Muma Gs heart just because she was still single. To me Muma knew what she wanted and waited patiently and as soon as the opportunity comes she grabbed it.
From what I see about this lady ,I feel she is the type that the closer you get the more you will find out that she is down to earth though with some element of pride which I think is okey for a Chic in the entertainment industry. However when you look from afar you will think she is unfriendly and pompous due to the walls she puts around herself. I know a lady that frowns all round the clock, but when you get closer to this lady you will acknowledge you met a human being, she is so tender-hearted with a very sound judjment. So the Muma we see on screen may be different from the out of screen Muma. Again when you love somebody you will definitely respect the person and without being told you can perceive that Muna loves her prince. So I wish them best of luck.
Anonymous 2:13 and Dorothy Zyna your thinking faculty sucks big time. If she is old, doesn't she deserve to be happy like others. Now hear this----only a good decent lady with good carriage can have a younger man ogling to marry her. People with notions like yours are a disgrace to Nigeria. BTW biggups to the Ijaws, your son-in-law prince represented your traditional wear so much. He rocks in those attires and that his out-of this-world cap. I love it, it is very sophisticated and in a class of its own. To think that I have always admired Prince Eke in his movies and now MUma Gee has got him for herself.(Sobbing) Oh Muma has taken our Prince!.....Smile! I am happy for you dear. You deserve to be happy Muma. Work it, work it. I mean your hussy and your marriage. You go girl!
My guy if your doing this with your real senses goodluck. But other than that may the Lord open your eyes to see the light. As an old port harcourt boy we know how diabolical some women are and this woman you choose for a wife has seen it all, she is not just a port harcourt woman but she is one of those that pushed the men around both physically and otherwise.
Hmm
