More Violence in Maiduguri

A heavy explosion followed by bursts of sporadic gunfire hit the town of Maiduguri around 7am this morning Wednesday July 6. There were a number of casualties. And you guessed right, Boko Haram again!

It now seems there are more bomb blasts and killings in Northern Nigeria than in Afghanistan; what the hell is this?

    The IG actually cut short his visit and flew back because he was summoned by the Senate or something.

    Where is OBJ when we need him? *sigh*

    let them kill themselves linda,the lesser the northern muslims in this country the better for the southern muslims.They have spoilt the good religion of islam ,those useless northerners...God punish all of them!nuff said!!!

    when i said awhile ago that some day we will wish OBJ is still in power,people thought I was nuts.

    Well,one thing for sure is that Obj will never handle this the way jonathan is.has he even made a statement on this?

    lol, most of the violence is in their own area, and they end up killing themselves more than any other group, so let them continue. as long as it stays in Maiduguri and doesn't travel outside of Borno State, then its all good.

    Nigeria will never divide they are waiting for amnesty program so they will share money for them just like what they did to the militant..........they are lucky that OBJ is no longer the president he would have done to them what he did to Odi community japhet all the way from India
