Arrested Boko Haram members will not be prosecuted.

An explosion killed at least five people and injured 10 more on Sunday July 3 at a bar near a police barracks in Maiduguri, the latest attack by radical Islamist sect Boko Haram.

Meanwhile, the State Security Service (SSS) said on Monday that it had arrested over 100 suspected members of the Boko Haram sect but they would not be prosecuted, in line with President Goodluck Jonathan’s decision to adopt a political solution to the problem.

Thoughts?

  4. GJ is scared or maybe he is looking for another type of punishment to avoid another Sharia. You know these Hausa illiterates are extremely foolish. We need wisdom to tame them bitches. Strip them off everything they have so that they become like the unfortunate aboriginals in the West.
Unlike these aboriginal in the West, the Muslim extremists in Nigeria deserve to be put in reserves.
Whatever GJ is doing, I pray God guides him because these Muslim extremists are getting out of hand.

  5. Anonymous 4:23, they should prosecute suspects. Suspect will either plea guilty or not guilty and then trial begins if a not guily plea is entered.

What else should they do with suspects? Remember you are a suspect until proven guilty.

GEJ dont be a nuisance. let them plead their case in court and get the judgement they deserve.

  6. i read this in 234 next too. I have a feeling they haven't caught this people. They just want to look good and buy more time. If not why would you not prosecute terrorists? It just doesn't make sense...The article on 234 even said those that reform will be given amnesty and some of them have already started changing or showing their remorse...just nonsense

  12. Jonathan is a big FOOL if he thinks that a political solution is the way. Boko Haram and the Muslim population in Naija are upset because a Christian won the presidency and they are seriously unhappy despite the fact that the election was fair. Johnathan needs to take a page from George W. Bush and OBJ and fuck up Boko Haram. With that said, I would like to say, we (the Igbos) told you other Nigrians many decades ago that these Muslims were bad news and for everyone to go their way. But no, you other Nigerians would not listen b/c you all were busy hating us (the Igbos) b/c we were materially successful and educated. Now we are all at risk of death at the hands of terrorists.
