Epe Kidnap: Abducted Students will regain their freedom soon – Police

The Lagos state police command says it is working hard to ensure that the six students abducted from the Igbonla Model school in Epe, regain their freedom soon. The students, all boys, were abducted on May 25th. Their abductors have demanded N100 million ransom. Parents of the six students raised N6 million and offered that to the kidnappers but they rejected it.
The kidnappers are demanding that the state pay the ransom.

Speaking in a recent interview with Channels, the state police command Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, said:
"On the Epe children, we are doing everything that we can to make sure they are rescued alive and unhurt, but I won’t be able to mention to you the stage that we are now because the safety of the children is paramount to us.”
