Businessman whose photo was published as Evans jubilates after the real criminal is caught

Before notorious kidnapper Evans was caught, an article had been published in a newspaper with the photo of another man being presented as the kidnapper.

The man identified as Tochukwu Ambrose Onwuamadike coincidentally has the same surname as the criminal and is also from Nnewi, just like Chukwumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans, hence the mistaken identity.

Since the arrest of Chukwumeme Onwuamadike, Tochukwu Ambrose Onwuamadike, who is from Akaboukwu Uruagu Nnewi but resides in Angola, has reportedly been jubilating at having his reputation cleared.

  6. IF NOT THAT THERE IS NO JUSTICE IN NIGERIA, THE YOUNG MAN THAT WAS PUBLISHED ON THE NEWS PAPER, SHOULD SUE THE NEWS PAPER FOR DEFORMATION OF CHARACTER AND THEY SHOULD PAY!

  7. Mumu. Get a good lawyer and sue for defamation of character as soon as possible. Loads of money waiting for you whether you win the case or settle out of court.

  8. He should sue the paper. That is wrong on all level. Just because you want to make money, you don't do proper verification before publishing somethings as serious as this?

  9. This just means the agents had more information from the onset. They just chose not to act on it. Because for people to have chosen a picture of someone with the same name, then they definitely had a lot of info on Evans. And they let him kill so many people and made peoples lives miserable before they captured him. Sad
