WATCH: Horrific video of woman hit by car while talking on the phone and crossing the road

A horrific video circulating online showed a woman on a mobile phone getting hit by a car in Chonburi province, Thailand and her body flying across the road.
The woman, identified as 40-year-old Sudchada Bureepia, survived the accident. She suffered a broken skull and was sent to Phyathai Sriracha Hospital. Unfortunately, she died at the hospital on Thursday, May 12.
Her husband, Prasong, said his wife had taken their daughter to a hospital before walking home, which was when the accident occurred.
Mangkorn Somsut, the driver who hit Suchada, said that he didn’t see the woman. The driver has been charged with reckless driving causing death.
The video was widely shared on local media as a reminder for pedestrians to be careful while crossing the road. Though it should also be noted that drivers need to watch for pedestrian.

Prasong said that he didn’t expect his wife to pass away so early, and now he is worried about his two children. He does not blame the driver, Mongkorn Somsud, who hit his wife.
He warned people not to use mobile phones while crossing the road and also asked other motorists to drive carefully.

  11. I don't think that's real! Was the car that captured it expecting such thing would happen? and why did the people in other cars didn't try to react after such a terrible thing had happened..Anyways,RIP to her if it's true.
