Photos: Nigerian woman delivers sextuplets after 17 years of marriage

A Nigerian woman, Mrs Ajibola Adeboye has delivered a set of sextuplets after 17 years of marriage.

Mrs Adeboye delivered her six children, 3 boys and 3 girls, at the Virginia Commonwealth University Teaching Hospital (VCU) Richmond VA. USA, on May 11th, 2017. Mother and children are said to be doing fine.

According to her husband, Mr Adeboye Taiwo, they were asking for just one child but God surprised them with six. He said they didn't know they were having a set of sextuplets until they had an ultrasound.

He is seeking for help from the public as well as the government. More photos below...

      Who said they reside in the US? They probably only went there to make sure they had a safe delivery and not get any mumu story from the mumu Doctors here.

      Ignorant fool. A lady I know tried ivf 9 times and it wasnt successfull. Not even the doctors can predict which pregnancy survives. Yes sometimes u dont know number of babies till late in the pregnancy...so mumu even successfully ivf is a miracle

    is it every IVF dat ends up like ds..millions of ppl spend so much and not even a single baby is achieved...
    You dont believe God can do ds without ivf!!! O ye of little faith....
    So many people go abroad to give birth without making full payment as some US hospitals allow payment plan dat u continue even wen u leave dia..

    So watever dia story is I pray divine help will locate dem and ds babies will grow fully in good health.

    Ovaries induced definitely. Why did they not include that fact. I believe in testimonies but don't leave vital information out. You must have known you were expecting six before they showed up. Scan, prenatal etc....common!!!!!

    Who performed the IVF procedure?
    No regulation in Nigeria as usual and no standards.
    Multiple pregnancies are high risk. Please doctors update your practice in line with international standards and don't plan more than 2 at a time before someone loses a life and their babies please!

      In your stupidity 23:25 you do not know they could have planted 3 and they all multiplied? Which doctor will implant only 1 or 2 embryos for a woman who has been childless 17 years? The lady who had 5 children 2 months ago did not do IVF so who told you all multiples are ivf....pls learn to process your thoughts before insulting and annoying us with your daft comments
