Heartless! 63 year old disabled grandma brutally beaten by thugs over her son's £100 cannabis debt

63 year old amputee grandmother, Barbara Dransfield, was left in a coma after two masked men, later identified as Stephen Morton and Nathan Clark savagely beat her up and caged her in her home in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, UK, over her son’s £100 cannabis debt. The two men reportedly burst into the home late at night looking for the woman's son who wasn't home.

The men proceeded to physically assault the elderly woman with their fist and bat, then robbed her.

The two men were arrested and faced trial. Stephen Morton was convicted of inflicting grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to commit robbery, while Nathan Clark, plead guilty to causing GBH with intent and conspiracy to commit robbery before the trial. They have both been jailed.

  1. At the end of the day, they would get a slap on the wrist. That is what happens in United Kingdom... criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens.

  8. This is so very sad, I think and believe that this heinousness wouldn't have occurred had the herb been legalised, trust they would have used legal means in getting their money instead of brutalizing the innocent old woman. It's high time various government around the world decriminalize the innocent herb.
