According to reports, a transformer near the viewing center fell which caused one of the high tension cables attached to the transformer to fall on the zinc of the viewing center building. At least 30 people died from the electrocution while the few that survived were badly burnt and have been taken to Cross River state Teaching hospital. May their souls rest in peace. Amen. ReplyDeleteI do agree that it was very wrong to build a structure close to such facility but at the same time,i believe there are government officials in charge of preventing or removing such anomaly. We all should be proactive. It is quite sad that as much as 30 people will die and status quo remains. It is as if we are waiting for the next tragedy to occur

Yet nothing was done. And I find it hard to understand that humongous gathering to watch football,heh?!! even with pple who hv dstv at home. My brothers are case in point. God pls deliver us.
