Nigerians on Twitter react after the best student of Pediatrics in Uniport allegedly received only N250 price money

According to a Twitter user, @Ty_Fregz, the Best student of Pediatrics from the University of Port Harcourt allegedly received her prize money of N250, two years after graduation yesterday. But Nigerians on Twitter didn't buy the expensive joke as many angrily expressed their disappointments, while others compared it to the N25m Big Brother Naija prize, saying an educational achiever  deserved more. 1. The price money must have been fixed a long time ago when N250 was worth like N25,000 in value but now it cannot even buy a plate of indomie and 3 eggs. penis exercise program that works

  3. We are all living in a fools paradise expecting naija will change when we reward nudity, immoral acts, singing, dancing and other trivial things.

Even those who get to lead us are not the best intellectuals, WAEC certificate is requirement to be a senator and other serious leadership positions in the country SMH.

When will Universities review the prize money attached to these awards ehn, the lecturers know how to fight for their emoluments but cant see that this needs to be reviewed nde?

    ngwanu kwontinue and expect change.

  8. It is actually not that interesting. A lot of donors endow prizes 10-20 years ago. A donor can donate 100k to fund a yearly prize and it left to the university what amount it wants to donate yearly to keep the endowment 'forever'. Inflation crept into those things years ago and I doubt many of those yearly prizes of 20-30 years ago are still being given.
