South African woman dumps newborn in pit toilet (Photo)

The KwaZulu- Natal police in South Africa have arrested a 20-year-old woman for dumping her newborn baby in a pit toilet.  The heartless woman was said to have been arrested after residents informed police about a newborn inside the pit toilet.

Confirming the sad incident, Colonel Thembeka Mbhele said that the police was lucky to have managed to retrieve the baby's body whose mother is receiving medical attention at a clinic under police guard.

According to Buzz SA, she appeared at the Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court Friday, February 10, 2017, on a charge of concealment of birth.
