Nigerian University claims to have found cure for HIV/AIDS

The Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University, Umudike, Professor Francis Otunta, has announced that a drug that cures HIV/AIDS has been discovered in the University. Otunta revealed to newsmen gathered at the campus that, following years of research, Prof. Maduike Ezeibe, a researcher at the university, made the discovery. The drug was presented to the University management and also to Ezeibe's colleagues in the medical field who didn't contradict his findings.

Ezeibe, a professor of Veterinary Medicine and Clinical Virology, disclosed some of the components used in producing the drug; Aluminum Silicate and Magnesium Silicate (Synthetic Aluminum-Magnesium Silicate).
The potency of the drugs was reportedly tested on 10 people living with HIV/AIDS. The drug was administered to them, followed by months of tests and the outcome was encouraging. Ezeibe revealed that the result of the tests has been published in scientific journals.

To further authenticate the drug, Ezeibe presented his findings at the World Virology Conference in Atlanta and another held in Texas. So far, there has allegedly been no report to disprove the drug.

Ezeibe went on to call on the Government to help secure international patency for the drug, now that it has been patented in Nigeria. He believes it could be a major foreign exchange earner for the country.

  19. Second time this report has featured on LIB. Efforts must be intensified to verify its efficacy. And after confirmation of its effectiveness, the government should seek an international patent recognition, registration and authentication. This is a wonderful breakthrough for the whole world. God Bless the inventor and the People of Nigeria!!!

  22. I agree with u my dear. There has always been a cure for aids. But the world depopulation agenda is so strong. His findings may not see d light of day and may even put his life at risk. A holistic dr named dr seye was killed after he cured his 13th patient with d virus. May God protect him and his research.

  23. Is this how a Scientist behaves...The global science community will not take him seriously. Where is your research paper(s), have you done a thorough lab analysis? Any test subjects and have you documented the results? Have the professional bodies (in medicine) validated your research? Just posing with to packages of what seems to be a drug doesn't prove anything! I think he's one of those hungry-man inventors: "Give me #2 million and I will cure AIDS!" I don't totally blame him though, he may be onto something, but there is no conducing research climate in Nigeria and due to paucity of funds most academics cannot carry out needed research. I wish him good luck but I doubt it's that easy to cure HIV.

  32. This useless government should not act foolish as this is a very good opportunity to create foreign exchange earnings for the country. If this is true, this will help with boosting exportation on a global scale since there's no cure at all known presently. This can even strengthen the Naira against the dollar a bit.The govt should quickly secure the int'l patent. Kudos to the true researcher. This is why our govt should encourage research and development in this country . I believe we have skilled researchers here who could even develop cure for ebola, or zika virus if provided with the necessary equipments and properly funded.

It would be helpful if he gets a website, and ALL social media accounts. A wikipedia page too etc...

He can also contact the french lab "Louis Pasteur" in Paris.
He can also contact INVESTORS. Nigerian or foreign ones.

Let him NEVER NEVER NEVER rely on the Nigerian government. That will be EXTREMELY NAIVE. Once bitten, twice as shy.

Nigerian scientists disappointed and even BLOCKED by the Nigerian government officials are too NUMEROUS. It will be disheartening and NAIVE of him if he as much as entertains the idea that he could be treated differently. NAIVETY KILLS. And one only realises that when IT'S TOO LATE.

  39. there is a worldwide conspiracy against the discovery of any drug that can cure hiv/aids. once a drug is produced, especially in africa, the government will try to rubbish the discovery even without any tests carried out on the efficacy and ability of the drugs to cure the sickness/disease it is meant to cure.they did this when dr abalaka produced hiv/aids drug ,and they have started again looking for how to discredit this new drug.
