    2. This is a welcomed development that SHOULD ONLY be agreed upon by the governing bodies of Christian churches like Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), NOT the government of the country!

    3. Why is this man, such a twisted liar, this law was passed, before Buhari came into power in 2015! You're trying to spin nonsense to blame the government, and you think it will go down well for you, you stupid bottom feeder. Shameless.

    4. These men of God were chosen by God. The founder of the Redeemed Church handed over to Adeboye according to the leading of God not according to the leading of one clueless government. Men of God are called and chosen by God and God speaks to them. Adeboye was chosen by God to help Nigerians and God has not asked him to leave Nigeria. If a government force him to leave Nigeria against the will of God, they are on their own and should be ready to face the consequencies of their action. Remember! The physical does not control the spiritual. The government should face recession and leave churches alone

    5. Even if GEJ created the law, why are they implementing it now? This is a big question begging for answers

    6. Why didnt GEJ implement the law? It is because people kicked against it then. So why is PMB now implementing it??

    2. Exactly, can you see how they've been misleading Nigerians with misinformation. They put all sorts of things in place, to sabotage Buhari's presidency, and then blame him. This is treason!

  14. First step, next is to tell the Christians how long they will spend in church.

  15. Yes I truly agree with ffk,it is an attack to the church and Christians ,been done in a subtle but steady way .they penetrated us by floating the vice president to gain our support, striped us of the state security apparatus by the retrenchments etc now the unity of the church because unhealthy Rivalry within the church probably looms.christians waaaake up.

  20. Why is this man so daft, thought he was an educated person? Or does he just wants to be noticed? In case you don't know, according to St. Augustin's philosophy, the state (nation, country) guided by the government is the entity and the beholder of God's principles and as such responsible for making laws and or decrees to guide His people, so there's nothing wrong with government being involved.
On the other hand, someone said what about the Catholic, my dear in case you don't know, catholic is a state on its own, governed by the papacy and as such responsible to it. So get that into ur null skulls.

  21. Idiot FFK...when his Oga Jona was making the rule why didn't he talk? I'll tell you why...ffk was too busy stealing and spending stolen cash to pay any attention to government.

  22. This is what happens when one allows sentiments to guard their decisions.Pastor Adeboye tacitly supported APC because one of his pastors, Osinbajo is the VP candidate. He became disillusioned with their performance so far and said so with his praising of Fayose, that didn't go down well with the Presidency, so they decided to invoke the financial rule about CEO's not spending more than 20years at the top. This is the first time it's been applied on any church or mosque, why? Because it's all about control, shutting down oppositions and sending a message with this govt that they'll not tolerate criticism from any quarter. I hope this action wouldn't deter the revered Pastor from voicing out his displeasure on how we are being governed in the future.

  25. Why are people deceptive. This law has been on since the time of GEJ. Why is Pastor Adebayo not telling the people the truth? He should have told them that they took FRC to court and lost out. That's why he has decided to take the right step by resigning. If the money in churches and mosque are that of the founders only, i am sure that the government will not put an eye on them. The leaders have taken the people for granted for too long. The funds are not accounted for. The government is simply asking them to account for the money by disclosing their financial reports to their members. besides, they want the leaders to be separated from those running the day to day activities of the church. Did Apostle Paul not advice the disciples to appoint men of integrity to handle the administration of the foods while they faces the ministering of the word? Lets be honest here. Jesus is our perfect example. He lived a transparent life. When asked for tax, He paid. Lets not allow people to deceive us. Corruption must be dealt with in all places, if this nation must move forward.

  26. Well said sir.....Say it loud we are behind you...one day government will wake up and say you cannot marry your wife beyond 30years...all marriage after 30years should be dissolve....our government may even one day say all air conditioned in your house should not last beyond 20years..after 20year it should be removed..what a government

  28. Its OK. But govt should not choose who to become the next church/mosque head. And this two organization have actually turned the church/mosque into family biz. Pls let's watch our tongue so we don't invite religious war. Just say things the way they are. The law does not mention churches only.

    1. Even if the law did not mention churches only, it is going against the faith and spirituality of christians. Why didnt they put a law in place to ban hijab when boko haram was using ladies that wear hijab to bomb people? They couldnt pass the law because they wanted to respect the belief and faith of muslims. Why cant they also respect christian beliefs?

  29. This government is confused! They nothing but Antichrist manifesting in human bodies. God will surely deal with them, then they shall know we serve a living God. I wonder when church has become problem of Nigeria when they have been unable to tackle the lingering economic and security issues.
