Salamatu who is said to be suffering from mental illness, was found dangling from a tree in the village. Her grandson, Muhammed Ibrahim, told newsmen that his grandmother had been missing for two days. He said his family found out she had committed suicide this morning.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Magaji Musa Majia, confirmed the incident and said the remains of the deceased has been buried according to Islamic rites.
