Nassarawa man who married two wives same day speaks out. "I love them both with equal degree"

Isyaka Dahiru, who married two women on New Year’s eve, has spoken out. Speaking to Daily Nigerian on Sunday, the 30-year-old said marital issues he had with his ex-wife and the deep love both women showed him prompted his decision.
"I have been dating one of the wives, Rashida, since before I divorced my first wife. My life ambition was to marry only two wives. But after the divorce, I met Khadija at my workplace and I fell in love with her. There is good understanding among us. They call themselves sisters, eat together in the same plate. They are just sisters. I love them both with equal degree. They showed me deep love and care too. They possess everything I need in a woman. So I couldn’t resist marrying them both at a time" he added.
Asked if he would marry more women in future, Mr. Dahiru simply replied he could not predict the future.

  8. now all of you can condemn him but you can't condemn the ones that chooses to marry their fellow man because you will say 'we shouldn't judge' but you don't have a problem judging your fellow African man that is living to his culture.

Colonial mentality has eating deep into us that we even hate our own black skin. you hardly see a black girl in music videos, or a black girl winning 'most beautiful girl in Nigeria' pageant .

I am not in support of polygamy but it is NOT illegal in Africa right from ancient days, so what is the fuse here? homosexuality was illegal even in the US until recently yet most of you cannot condemn that one but you can condemn your African brother living to it's tradition.

despite our independence, we still have the mental slavery problem in Africa. Carry on young man and congrats on your polygamy wedding.

  14. When will women marry two or more men simultaneously as well all in the name of "love"? In this case, only one man would be the main keeper of the honey pot while the rest would be responsible for fixing the house when it needs maintenance, finances, diesel/fuel 4 the generator upkeep/driver, etc. Abi na lie?
