Former Ondo state Chief Judge, Gladys Olateru-Olagbegi, dies

Former Chief Judge of Ondo state, Justice Gladys Olateru-Olagbegi, has died. According to family sources, she died on Sunday night January 1st after a prolonged battle with an undisclosed ailment. She became the Chief Judge of Ondo state in 2003 and retired on 26th October, 2010. May her soul rest in peace Amen.

    3. The Olateru Olagbegi family is unique in the whole of Black Africa. It boasts of several achievers in divers endeavors. It patriarch Sir Olateru-Olagbegi KBE is one of Africa's earliest educated monarchs. The Action Group party was formed in his Owo palace in d early 1950s. The present Olowo of Owo Dr. David Victor Folagbade Olateru-Olagbegi is an accomplished jurist & the head of this illustrious family.
