The Empower Borno Campaign attracts top dignitaries, launches the #SleepOut4Borno Challenge, see videos of Nigerians sleeping on the street globally

The empower borno campaign is on and it is getting stronger, it has gotten the attention of  sport legends, entertainers and national dignitaries like, Mikel obi, , Dare Art-Alade, FIRS Chairman Babatunde Fowler, and others.

The campaign which also recently launched the #sleepout4borno challenge in awareness for the over 2 million internally displaced Nigerians in Borno state has also attracted Nigerians both local and in diaspora leaving the comfort of their homes and sleeping on the street.

The campaign is a global challenge where you would spend the night on the street and upload the video on social media with the #EMPOWERBORNO and #SLEEPOUT4BORNO and tag @empowerborno. The campaign has gone viral as you would see below even oyinbo people dey sleep outside for our beloved state (so touching). It is such a noble idea and every Nigerian both home and abroad are enjoined to join the campaign, its high time Nigerians stood up for Nigeria.

There are very few things worth backing in this times and empower borno is definitely one of those. It is a project that is driven by both need and passion, the need of the borno people and the passion of Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs who are the mastermind of this life changing project in collaboration with the Borno State Government.

This is the time to join the wagon of change, join the Empower Borno Campaign; snap a picture of yourself and loved ones doing the cling fist as seen in the photos or carrying the official empower borno campaign placard (you can write #EMPOWERBORNO on a placard), post on all your social media platforms using the #empowerborno hashtag, tag  @empowerborno and viola! you are done in just a few minutes. You can also join the #SLEEPOUT4BORNO challenge and upload the video, all these cost you nothing. Show your passion for humanity in this season of love and remember to nominate 5 people to join the challenge by replicating what you do.

  8. Why is it outsiders and southerners that are so charged up about empowering Borno?

    Where are the northerners?

When will southerners respect themselves and sort out their own issues, because there are plenty issues. Which northerner have you seen carrying the issues of southerners on their head? Have they been sympathetic to those the herdsmen have been killing in the west, the Biafra movement in the east or the agitations in the niger delta? Who have they tried to empower in all of the south? Please wake up southerners! WAKE UP SOUTHERNERS!!!
