Photos: Touching story of Nigerian man who spent 16 years in prison for crime he didn't commit

Below is the story as shared today by Omega Fire Ministry, Lagos:
"This is most touching, bro Ezekiel was givien a life sentenced for a crime he did not commit. After staying in the prison for 16years and 3months, God visited him through the man of God, Rev Fidelis and Pst Gladys Ayemoba,
during the Touch of Love outreach a vision of our father Apostles Johnson suleman this brother was ministered to by the spirit of God. After this meeting God step into his case, without negotiation he was released and today bro Ezekiel is a free man.....he came back to return all the Glory to God of this commission for breaking the limit and setting him free, the church was amazed by the mighty move of God and again the man of God Rev Fidelis prayed and bless him financially. This is the best way to end the year(TOUCH OF LOVE)

  4. Awwww! I was broken reading his story. Many are suffering same fate in our prisons for crimes they didn't commit.
I thank God for his freedom, once there is life, there is hope.

  7. Was he acquitted by the court just as he was convicted. If so, he should be duly compensated for time spent.

  14. Every year there are stories of people in prison for doing nothing and yet the system has not consider it necessary to do at least a quarterly check of our prisons to give succor to these unfortunate people whose only offence was because they could not afford say N200 to bail themselves from our corrupt police at the material time they got arrested for trivial offences. can anybody truly love naija having gone through this harrowing experience?

  19. Uhm... This is a great testimony! But the young man has been released months ago.. He has shared same testimony in my church RCCG (*****),Lekki.. What I don't understand now is how come the story is saying that Touch of life outreach ministered to him when at my church, he said it was the RCCG City of David that visited him and prayed with him. I wish I could release the video online... He said, he was accused of pushing someone from up the building....just because the person and himself weren't on talking terms and he was being accused because of an earlier threat he had made to him. He wasn't the only one arrested though... Just feeling concerned... Thank you!
