EFCC: Musiliu Obanikoro regains freedom

Read the press statement from Obanikoro's media aide below...
"It delights us to announce that the former Minister of State for Defense, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has been released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), this evening. We are however not resentful but thankful to the Almighty for the gift of life and good health and the process which began from his voluntarily turning himself over to the anti graft agency and his subsequent release.
We thank all his friends and followers who supported him in prayers and supplication among others. God bless you all. Jonathan Eze Media Aide to Senator Musiliu Obanikoro

  7. This mam stole M789 million naira from the country and refunded only N100 million, an amount which is less than one percent of what he stole, and he is freed. Nigeria is a rotten country, and buhari and his so called fight against corruption is just a sham. You guys are lucky these mass looting of the country's resources is not happening in China, half of the country's leaders starting from Shagari in the first republic, and all the ministers, senators, and governors would have faced the music. Nigeria stinks, and everything about it stinks.

  14. Na wa o after stealing Billions. Meanwhile ordinary Nigerians who stole yams or goat will be languishing in kirikiri awaiting trial with no one to bail them.

  20. Our judicial system is not just hence the high level of insecurity, reprisal attacks, jungle justices etc. we witness around us. On this blog during the week an ex banker was sentenced to 195 years in prison for stealing 21 million Naira which is 2.63% of what Obanikoro stole. From my calculation I think Obanikoro should be sentenced to 7428 years imprisonment under a just judicial system. Until justice is allowed to prevail I am worried about the much demanding peace we are all yearning for in this country.#just be just#
