I became Vice President without asking for the position- Osinbajo

Yemi Osinbajo yesterday said he became the Vice President of Nigeria without asking for the position. Osinbajo said this while speaking at the Olive Tree Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lagos yesterday October 2nd. According to him, his emergence without any personal effort showed that God is involved in the business of changing Nigeria.
“This country has gone forward and it is going to keep moving forward. The reason why I, Yemi Osinbajo, without asking for a position, was given the vice-presidency of this nation is because God’s hand is in this business.
And so, I am completely confident that despite where we are today, it is the dawn of a new beginning. It has begun to show and surely there is a very bright light at the end of the tunnel. God knows that this country has a plan and purpose in Africa and in the world; the plan and purpose will never diminish or be cut short”he said

    1. I don't blame you. In other countries, people toil and campaign to get ordinary school presidency post, while you, the vice president of a nation is proud to say you got there without toiling for it. Did God say you should take a post you never prepared for and thus put the people you are serving in peril? If you don't know what you are doing there, just leave. As I said before, I don't blame you. After all, Nigerians happily allowed that old man climb to that seat without a presidential debate explaining to us what he plans to do when he becomes president. Both of you were running away from debate citing corruption, as if they will ask you jamb questions during the debate. Now everyone is complaining as if they didn't vote in the clueless govt.
First he said he doesn't know what economics is, then you are now saying you didn't ask for the VP post. Just step down if you don't know what to do.

  15. IT IS TIME WE GOT RID OF POLITICAL PARTIES IN THIS SPACE CALLED NIGERIA.
SINCE WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ELECT THE BEST PEOPLE TO GOVERN US, LET US DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND SEE WHETHER THE BEST PEOPLE CAN COME IN AND RULE NIGERIA.
LET US INVITE CONSULTANTS TO ADVERTISE THE JOB FOR PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT, SENATE PRESIDENT ETC, DOWN TO THE CHAIRMEN OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT FOR PEOPLE TO APPLY. TRULY MOST PEOPLE WHO ARE IN POWER TODAY WILL NOT EVEN GET A CLEANER JOB.
I SEE MEDIOCRITY EVERYWHERE IN NIGERIA.

  20. Silly statements from a Professor. That is the reason why we have bad economy and poor government. Many politicians find themselves in the position of Power without preparing for the challenges and responsibility of the office.
Bishop Kukah during his speech at the platform said the same thing as one of the bane of governance.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu just picked him and put him up there and like that Osinbajo is the chairman of Nigerian Economy.

Buhari prepared for office of GCFR , He was prepared to defeat BokoHaram and today, it is been a while I heard bomb blast in Nigerian Metropolis.

    Shameful statement from a Prof.

we need to start seeing the God in us and HIS holy manifestations in our brain, we should this mentality of expecting God to drop from heaven to rescue Nigeria..... we have to pay attention to the God in our brain.
