Wanted ex-Governor of Katsina, Ibrahim Shema turns himself in the EFCC

Former Katsina State governor Ibrahim Shema, who was on Wednesday September 14th declared wanted by the EFCC for avoiding invitation for questioning over an alleged N74.6billion fraud carried out while he was in office, has reportedly turned himself in to the anti-graft agency.

According to Premium Times, Ibrahim Shema's spokesperson, Oluwabusola Olawale, revealed that the ex-governor arrived at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commision headquarters around 9:30 a.m. today. He turned himself in because “he is a law abiding citizen who has absolutely nothing to fear. Mr. Shema “went to submit himself to the EFCC even though the agency has not been fair to him in handling his case.”
