Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima on Monday morning condoled the family of his late commissioner for Environment Alhaji Waziri Imam, who died on Wednesday morning. The Commissioner, who is a younger brother to an APC national chieftain, Alhaji Kashim Imam, died after a brief illness in Maiduguri. He was aged 54 and is survived by a wife and six children. He was buried on Wednesday evening in Maiduguri amidst tears.
The governor who visited the family in Mutawalli Kashim Imam's resident at Gombole road where some family and friends of the deceased converged to mourn him for seven days, expressed shock over the death and prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
