Photos: Former Governor, Peter Obi reportedly declines help from airport officials, carries his own luggage

That is what a Facebook user is claiming. According to him, on arrival at the airport, former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi gently declined help from airport officials who wanted to help him with his luggage. He wrote:
''The ORACLE came back and do his usual ,even the Airport staff wants to help but he kindly reminded them that he is Young enough to still take care of his own belongings ..Some call him Ijele ,some Okwute but I simply look at him and say ...Ife di ka gi akonam"...More photos after the cut.

    People are misunderstanding that for virtue. Not true ! He does that because he is stingy. Even as a serving governor he pays for his own excess luggage himself and collects change. Ask his aids.     The grand trickster is seeking notice and cheap publicity.He is actually stingy.As a governor he starved over 250 staff of Anambra State Water Corporation to death without salaries and benefits until the National Industrial Court slammed his administration as wicked and inconsiderate.Today,he left the state water industry in Anambra in shambles.He frustrated the workers and up till this moment,the damage he did to the water agency is difficult for Obiano to restore because it is unimaginable.Today in Anambra,there's no pipe borne water anywhere and the citizens are drinking from dirty sources.The famous Onitsha World Bank Greater Water Scheme is now history while those of Lagos,Kaduna,Enugu,Abakaliki are functional .Gov Obis administration killed the following industries in Anambra namely,Onitsha Mineral Water industry,the General Cotton Mill,ANSEPA,Anambra State Water Corporation,Ministry of Works Onitsha etc.These are institutions that were functional before he became governor.Now many who worked in this institutions died in anguish and their children scattered in hopelessness and poverty.Is this how to be the best state in Nigeria and Dubai of Africa.?
    That is Peter Obis legacy for you and he is showing off at the airport.Who is fooooling who and what is special about that.Buuulshit

    You can never win this battle with us Nigerians! Most will call it being stingy whilst some will see as a sign of humility. I saw him do it once at the international Airport doing same thing and I heard all sorts of comments, some downright nasty, some complimentary. What I know is that we are were we are 'cos of waste and people wanting to reap where they did not sow. Let him be please
