Mother Teresa has been declared a saint by Pope Francis (photos)

19 years after she died at age 87 in 1997, Mother Teresa has been declared a Saint by Pope Francis in a ceremony witnessed by hundreds of thousands of people at St Peter's Square. The Mass and canonisation took place this morning Sunday September 4th. Mother Teresa was revered for her work with the poor and sick in India. And many people believe the Sainthood is long overdue...

  10. That she is made a saint doesn't mean she will go to heaven.. You Roman Catholics are an unbelieveable and naive lot.. Follow your salvation with fear and trembling and not with worldly title.. Y'all can take a swipe at me... I'm ready to defend myself with the truth.. The Bible

  40. WOW...

    1. So another human can declare another a saint, Interesting....

    2. So who is next? Mandela? Gandhi ? Hmmm

It's is sad how with clear evidences like the books sent to the Jews (Thorat), Christsins (Gospel/Bible) and Muslims (Quran), we still go astray!!!

Take your own time to read and understand! Don't blindly follow

  45. Declare a dead woman a saint? What good will it do to the dead Mother Theresa when it is written that "It has been appointed unto men to die once, after this the judgement [Heb 9:27]". can the Pope singlehandedly change God's decision on her eternal abode (heaven or hell) made the day she died ? God closed her case when she died 1997 and can any mortal plead with GOD to get out someone from hell into heaven or vice versa? If at the time she died, there was no sin(hidden and open) that can prevent God from allowing her into heaven and she has given her life to Christ fully why will she not be allowed into heaven? Do we need somebody to keep wasting time and effort on another who is already in heaven?
If she was weighed by God after she breathed her last and she was found wanting, SIN CAN NEVER ENTER INTO HEAVEN. Hell is where sinners will leave for ever. For without holiness no man shall see the LORD.
