    1. Tradition,Education and Religion are the worlds biggest scams!
Tradition is the invisible chain used to bind our physical bodies,
Education is the perimeter fence that keeps our minds captive,
while Religion is the pair of handcuffs binding our spirit.
Once a person or organization has control of these, they enslave the captive and his offspring perpetually. Anyone who sees through these scams and wants out of this modern day slavery, is seen as a stupid outcast by fellow ‘mind prisoners’.
Imagine one lady in my office
arguing that tithe is an instruction from God, I agree, but God, in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 14
verse 22, says eat your tithe at a chosen place, the person replied me saying “God forbid!”
I showed her the bible, including the part where the instruction from God was for us to purchase the alcohol drink of our choice with our tithe (Deut 14v26) and she said “that can’t be right”……. Of course it can’t be right, your pastor knows more than God now, abi! Listen, the instruction from God is bring 10% of your crops and the
first born male of your animals.

Doing this will teach you always to fear the LORD your God.”

So let’s imagine a cattle rearer has 5 cows, and each gave birth to a female calf. That year he had increase of 5 cows, was he supposed to tithe on them? Of course not! Why? The bible said “first born male” I often wonder where these retires yahoo boys got
this 10% across board calculation for tithe, because, for a whole year, the cattle rearer was not obligated
      to tithe in anyway!
      During Jesus time there were
people who didn’t plant crops or rear animals, laborers, tailors, carpenters, tax collectors etc.
These people didn’t deal with crops and animals they dealt with money… Hmmmm both
      Deuteronomy and Malachi talk
only about crops and animals not money! Any pastor that force tithe upon you, is a glorified yahoo boy!

    6. There is a blessing attached to "first fruit offering" and "tithes". God said he will rebuke the devourers for our sake in the bible. However, it is not by force. If you pay, you will benefit from the blessings attached to it in the bible. If you dont pay you wont benefit. It is as simple as that. It is your choice and you have the right to refuse or accept. It is not a do or die

    7. You should have reported the matter to the General Overseer of the church. He disciplines his pastors very well

Ok, I will answer you, the same reason why God himself, Jesus his Son, the Holy Spirit, the galaxy, Earth, the president and everyone else is discussed on social media. If God himself is being talked about on social media, in comparism to that God, who the baga then is a mere 'man' of God that cannot be a subject of discussion? Nigerian Christians are a special kind of retard. Until you are able to separate God from the cultures of your local churches, you will NEVER know true peace. Jesus died for you not any rogue in suit trying to scare you into his small box - seek and focus on that Jesus and dump the rogues

  24. hmmm! it usually a had decision to make to pay ones first fruit. It is easy for those who have enough already and won't feel it if they give their first year salary. It is very difficult for those whose salary is not even enough for the month let alone having excess to save or spend if they give that one all out. It happened to me. when I got my new job I gave my first fruit. It takes grace my Dear. Just see it that you are giving it to God not to your Pastor. Then tell that God to protect you and your job through out that year. If you do not have the grace please don't give cause that will mean grumbling and no blessings comes with that. I 100% disagree with all Pastors that force people to give and go to the extent of causing them and putting fear in them by using terrible words to pray. That is evil, it is not from God. My former Pastor once said that the congregation should help him that if anyone leaves his church the person will not prosper or do well thereafter. That prompted my Husband to say we should leave the church. Since we left, things are far much better for us now compared to then. We have achieved a lot and still achieving. God will help the Church of this age and help our Pastors.

@ Doublehay, paying offering tithes and firstfruit is God's instruction and biblical.
May He give you the strength to understand the power of tithing and giving cos tithers and givers never lack. When you give your tithes and firstfruit, God himself will provide for you
He gave you that job/salary he can take it from you, get you promoted even give you a bigger one, giving opens doors

The Pastor is meant to let u understand the reason God asked to give and benefit of giving not FORCE and CURSE, that is where he went wrong

But my dear, adopt the giving life, do not look at any pastor but focus on the word, the truth will set you free.

Religion has really eaten us up here in Africa.
We believe and do whatever these so called Pastors and Imams say all the time forgetting the fact that we are all equal in the eyes of God, don't wanna sound like a preacher though but the fact still remains that we Africans are so gullible and really blinded by these Religious heads.

They have been milking us since God knows when, they live in the best houses, drive the best cars, send their children to the best schools out of what the so called followers contributes monthly or annually..

The true definition of a person do not lie in his religion but his character.

Only God Almighty knows who worships him truely.

  48. They need more private jets! Packing our hard-earned money out of the economy and yet they are shouting recession. They are so powerful to identify witches in the church but so blind to see those members who are looting our national treasury. They need whatever money from whatever means from whatever f**king motherf**kers. Cowards they are! Even lord Jesus became violent when he found gamblers in the temple but our pastors love for money means that any money that enters the church is automatically sanctified and the benefactor is blessed. Churches are now built and sustained with stolen treasuries, yahoo money and all other sorts. When you keep our money in your bank accounts without any knowledge of how to re-invest it directly back into the economy...they now place church workers on salaries from donations and offerings. If half of redeem churches in nigeria are business centers...we won't be talking about unemployment. The more the churches, the more corrupt nigerians are, the more we have militants,...Pastors are well appreciated in nigeria so stay here and pray for nigeria and until there is goodness. What then do you need jets for..to fly and pray for US or UK economy...(jokers!) Billions of naira lie in your accounts waiting to be spent on new jets abi? No be so! You are a great part of this corruption and God knows it. People are fooled by their humble looks but for how long....we are not being blessed despite having more than 10000 churches, nigeria is perishing bcos of lack of knowledge...EFCC needs to start probing those religious sectors bcos that is now the old foes place of solace and the new generation's foundation of corruption. I don't have problems with churches but my problem is with those handling them now..they keep printing hand bills that ends up on our roads and please who do you expect to sweep those prints. Don't preach for me,preach to those who are killing nigeria, pray to God to lead you to them and their children. By their fruits we shall know them....many churches don't even have seeds! Invest our money back into our economy and God's willing it will bear us good fruits..then we shall know that not that my people love the church but the church loves them back too.

  51. Nigerians are really stupid when it comes to pastors. A friend of mine gave the money they gave him to write jamb to a pastor and has not gone to uni as a result. All I m saying is the bible can be used to manipulate people. I personally rather give my 10 percent to people in need than to churches where the pastors drive expensive cars. A lot of Nigerians forget the most important commandment is to
love their neighbours as themselves. Most people are more focused on the my pastor says that they forget bout helping their fellow man. I have seen a medical practitioner abandon a patient to go for night vigil. Please don't go to a church where they hold ur blessing hostage because you don't give money to them. As a matter of fact focus on ur relationship with God and making sure to treat ur fellow man as you would ur self.

If you claim one branch pastor is forcing u to obey biblical instructions by demanding u to pay ur first fruit, then, I dnt knw what to say to u. Moreover, i can't ascertain wether ur urclaim is right or not,or wether u misunderstood the preaching to be compulsion n raising of fire n brimstone. Be it as it may, you shouldn't ave come online to vent such an issue, when it only happened in one branch out of thousand branches. that's if it really happened. Also, if u are a good christain u should knw it's biblical to gv ur first seed offering.whilst it is advisable, it's not compulsory. And that shouldn't be enough reason fr you to stop worshiping God in church. While u can also worship God at home,it is also good and advisable to go to church, the house of God,n worship him with other brethen. The Bible says: when two or three are gathered in my name name(Jesus) i will be there in their midst.

  57. I do not know the orientation of your pastor and i am not sure how entirely true this story is. However, I have read comments and i was moved in my spirit to share this. There is no doubt that there are false pastors everywhere; in fact it takes the grace of God and spirit of discernment to tell the difference. Anyway, that not my main purpose of commenting. My purpose is to help through the Holy Spirit those who lack understanding in the attitude of giving.
First of, you cannot give to someone you do not love or let me put it this way...you can give without loving but you cannot love without giving. When you deeply love God, i don't mean the watery statement of loving God we all make. I mean love Him DEEPLY in your heart, you will find it easier to give, you will understand where your strength in giving lies, you'll want to improve the way you give, in short, you will pray to God to help you give because giving is alot harder than receiving. I typing this, I am one of the most selfish persons anyone can come across. I didn't even realise this until I started my walk with God. Many of us are born selfish-it is a result of the fallen nature of man. Now let me break it further.
First of all, I don't ever give out of compulsion. I used to do that when i was ignorant of God's Word. I must be led to do so and when the Holy Spirit tells me to give, He clearly knows the size of my pocket. Sometimes I give and i am shaken financially, other times there is really no difference in my bank account but the beautiful thing is that I ALWAYS get that money back (Well that depends on my prayer before i give). That's what seed sowing should be about.
Secondly, one lesson to also know is that never give away without praying-ask God for what you need and let that go with faith of course. Trust me it works.
Thirdly, always remember you are giving to God not man. So if that pastor decides to use the money for his personal business, he is answerable to God not you. Your own is to collect your blessings. The pastor may take your money for his selfish reasons but he can NEVER take away your blessings from God.
Lastly, aside financial blessings, giving to God through tithe, offering, seed sowing does more for you than you can ever imagine-it is still a misery.
If you are still in doubt of all I have said, take up your bible, strengthen your relationship with God and in due time He will reveal all you've always wanted to know. #donotbeinfluencedbythethingsoftheworld.

  58. Tithing is an element of Judaism which was the religion of the Jews before the advent of Christianity and it's purpose was to support the levites who served at the temple and were not permitted to own property or do secular work under the law of Moses. Tithing has no place in christiandom as we are no longer under the law of Moses or practising the Jewish religion. Christians are enjoined to give as they are prospered, not grudgingly or by force because God loves a cheerful giver 2 corinthians 9:7. Anyone forcing you to give tithes does not understand the Bible or the tenets of Christianity. The early Christians never practised tithing. No where is it mentioned in the new testament where Christianity started. Please let's stop confusing Judaism with Christianity and limit our reference and standard to what is in the bible. Thanks

  59. And who did the pastor give his first fruit to? The bible says money is the root of all evil..shey na lie! Muslim fanatics in the north do their type of evil but not bcos of money while our fanatic pastors in the south strategizes their own evil all bcos of money. Evil has it's roots aplenty in our churches;MONEY! From fake testimonies to arranged miracles..all in the name of creating confusion in our hearts. People now steal from companies that pay them in order to donate huge sums to churches ...all in the name of recognition. Oppression becomes a key factor. Competition between churches is now a new sport. If church 'A' buys a jet worth 5billion naira church 'B' will rubbish it by buying a jet plus helicopter. How do you expect those monies to come back in to our economy? You didn't work for the money! Nigerians are confused.....if we see a beggar plaiting hair of 5k naira, many of us might decide not to give that beggar alms again but can you differentiate the mode of operation of a beggar and our churches...yet you continue pouring your cash on these pastors just bcos they can quote a verse to support your foolishness. By 2050, we may have 10 churches on each street ....for what? Salvation or Contribution?

But for you coming to Social Media to paint Mountain of Fire with a Bad Image is not right. People run to MMFM for deliverance and Solution to Long time Problem. Our Church is not Bad.

What do you aim to achieve by doing this? May God have mercy on you and deliver you. That's how devil will keep deceiving and using you.

  63. Most of the pastors now in Nigeria are scammers in suits. They are not held accountable for money given to them by their members. I'll bet you if a system is put in place to hold them accountable most of the churches in Nigeria will be closed off. Nigerians open your eyes, church is business in Nigeria. The church is meant to bring social and moral change in the society. There is practically a church on every major street in Nigeria yet we are one of the most corrupt nations on earth. The monies gotten from their poor church members are used to buy expensive cars, houses, clothes, holidays, to invest in hotels, universities, houses to enrich the lives of themselves and their families. While the church members remain in the same poor state. Nigerians open your eyes, hold your pastors accountable. The money should be used also to improve the socio-economic lives of the members. 95% of Nigerian churches are fake/corrupt/hypocrites just like our governments and society at large. Stop this anointed talk. Everyone is equal before God

  69. Dr. D.K. Olukoya, G.O MFM, had never and would never encourage such. He is a man of disciple, honour and Virtue. MFM is a Church of virtue. If it was true, such should be reported to the Headquarters and I promise you appropriate sanctions would be taken. MFM is a Church of promise.
