In our culture, we are not used to seeing successful people appear like you- Pres. Buhari tells Zuckerberg

While receiving Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, at his office today, President Buhari commended him for his simplicity and informed him that in our culture, we are not used to seeing successful people appear the way he does.
"I am impressed by your simplicity in sharing your knowledge and wealth with those with less income. In our culture, we are not used to seeing successful people appear like you. We are not used to seeing successful people jogging and sweating on the streets. We are more used to seeing successful people in air-conditioned places. We are happy you are well-off and simple enough to always share’’ he said.

In his remarks, Zuckerberg said he was impressed by the interest, energy and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by young Nigerians in all the ICT camps that he had visited.
"I was highly impressed by the talent of the youths in the Co-creation Hub in Yaba. I was blown away by their talent and the level of energy that I saw,’’ he said.

It is a culture and norm in Nigeria. So free Buhari. Dont bring stupid politics sentiments into this. Grow up and get over yourselves

    2. Why is it that anytime hhe gets to talk to white people, he exhibits inferiority complex by bringing his people so low? How you appear in public is a matter of personal preference and not of culture! Must his visitor's way of appearing in public be our standard. For the information of PMB, some heads of state don't have many aircraft as him. He should sell them to become a simple man! KOLAQ

  37. Buhari's head is not correct at all. Frigging hypocrite. When last did he jog. If you see the vicious convoy he has given Zahra his daughter to move about with newly (and corruptly) acquired designed gear, he should be impeached already. Forever running Nigeria down. Does nobody tell him he can praise a person without denigrating another? Buhari is a fool, everybody and nobody should tell him that nobody can build by destroying. Idiot. Same goes for his falsely sanctimonious sidekick, Fake Pastor VP Osinbajo. The evil idiots that ruined Nigeria.
