Fwd: INEC postpones Edo governorship election by 2 weeks

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has postponed the Edo State governorship election by two weeks. The spokesman to the INEC Chairman, Rotimi Oyekanmi, confirmed the postponement.

    1. When PDP postponed the presidential elections in 2015, why were people not wailing? Why are they now wailing because of postponement of ordinary Edo State? Hypocrites!

    3. Lucky Igbinedion and his father are just using Ize Iyamu as front to continue the looting and stealing of Edo State treasury. We cannot be fooled 3 times. Edo people are wiser now. We are voting for Obaseki

    5. Ize Iyamu was with Igbinedion for 8 years and they did nothing in Edo State. All they did was to loot and steal money. At least we can see many roads and schools that Oshiomole constructed and built. Edo people are wiser now. We are voting for Obaseki to continue the infrastructure.

    8. Too many illiterates on this blog. Elections were postponed for your safety because boko haram has threatened that they will bomb Edo State on that day and some idiots are here wailing just because their party is no longer relevant as a result of their massive looting and stealing. Pls get a life! Fools

    9. PDP has lost credibility because of their looting and stealing. Even if there is no APC to vote for, i will rather vote for Kowa party or APGA than vote for PDP

  8. The name Buhari has become a name of shame everywhere. These were the antics of the PDP that made Nigerians to hate them and threw them out of power. APC said they were the party of change and now, all could see they are even doing worse than PDP in terms of CORRUPTION. Buhari, we know all your antics. They want to use this two weeks to bring in troops to Edo state in the guise of fighting terrorists to intimidate Edolites from voting their choice. With what APC has done, I believe many that wanted to vote for the APC Candidate will now have a rethink that APC is a FRAUD. I Plead with Edolites to defend their votes with their blood. They should not let the soldiers Buhari is going to send to steal the election intimidate them. All votes must be counted and the AUTHENTIC Results released. Jonathan did not interfere with INEC in the presidential election and so I warn Buhari not to interfere with Edo election. Oshiomhole, you who we thought was going to be the Governor of the people as now bounded with rogue politicians to truncate our democracy that MKO DIED for. SHAME on you, Oshiomhole. You will never Succeed in the Evil You and Obaseki is planning.

  9. Any man or woman that will be used to rig this election will not live to see the outcome of the including the PMB or Adams. Enough is enough and judgement day has started! We need a leader in edo state and not politicians. God Almighty please help your pastor to prove a point in Nigeria in Jesus Mighty Name Amen!

  10. Why are we like this? What is wrong with believing our security agencies, that there might indeed be a security threat? Everything is not about politics. If you knew the security agencies, you would know they try to avoid getting mixed up with politicians. PDP initiated all that rubbish with buying over security officers.

  13. Hmmm....2019 is a complete disaster waiting to happen, because I am very sure this present INEC cannot hold election simultaneously in two states tall less of the whole nation. I fear greatly for the future of Nigeria's democracy. It's so bleak.

  14. so bleak my dear, for idiots that's supporting this APC party, I warned you people in 2015 not to vote in APC, now everyone can see, infact for the mere fact that APC singlehandededly changed the date, I will vote for PDP and ready to die that day, if the election did not go inPDP way
