A high powered delegation from the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) led by Dr. Vincent Olatunji, the Acting Director-General of the agency was recently at the Coscharis Technologies Ltd Headquarters to officially present the certificate to the company.
According to Olatunji,thecertification was an epoch-making event as Coscharis Technologies was the first Nigerian company to be issued an OEM license since his assumption of office.
Present to receive the certification was Mr. Sunday Emomine Umukoro, MD of Coscharis Technologies, who stated that the journey to Cosmos Computers began about fifteen years ago and is based on the vision of the company’s founders to be in the mainstream of technology drive in Nigeria.
Umukoro, who recently bagged the Titans of Tech Award for his outstanding commitment to the development of the Nigerian ICT industry at the just concluded 2016 Titans of Tech Awards, the biggest technology conference and networking event in West Africa, said thatCosmos Computers is designed to fill the gap for a high quality, proudly Nigerian computer brand that can compete globally. He added that Cosmo computers are high speed, compact models enhanced with 21st century methodology to give theman edge in the market.
