18 months after he withdrew his membership of the PDP and supervised the tearing of his party membership card by his ward leader in Ogun State, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, made a surprise entry at the party’s Convention Committee inauguration held at the Yar'Adua Center Abuja yesterday August 5th. It was not clear what exactly brought him to the venue as he refused to field questions from journalists.

He was at d Yaradua's Hall to attend a program on Agriculture, while PDP members were at d same premises but DIFFERENT section for their so called meetings/convention. Coincidentaly, they rushed to greet him though he responded but merely! Telling u guys what I saw cuz I too was there for d Agric prog too!

And we had a PhD holder as president then, what was people's criteria for choosing him?
