According to TMZ Cromartie’s sister, LaQuinta Gardner the family is pissed at Cromartie for asking their mother to pay rent for the house that was supposed to be a gift.
Gardner says she has set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for her mother.
Cromartie's rep however said:
"His mother has been paying the mortgage on the house since 2011. That's the deal they have in place." "It wasn't until June that she refused to make any payments."The rep says Antonio's children are his priority financially and that he believes his mother and her husband have enough money to support themselves.
Cromartie signed a four-year, $32 million deal to return to the Jets. On February 22, 2016, the Jets released Cromartie after just one season.
He welcomed a set of twins, Jynx and J'Adore, on May 8, 2016, after he already had a vasectomy.
