Kogi state governor reportedly attacked by aggrieved residents of the state

The Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello was reportedly attacked by some aggrieved residents of the state today August 26th. According to multiple sources, the governor who had gone to the Lokoja Central Mosque to observe his Juma'at prayer, was attacked by some aggrieved residents who threw stones, rotten food and fruits at his convoy as it departed the mosque.

The residents say they are not happy with the manner in which the state governor is managing the affairs of the state. They say they are groaning in hardship and hunger as most of the civil servants had not been paid their salaries.

  23. Yes, this is what is needed. React, that is the only time, change will come. Forget this buhari rubbish, change is in your hands. React, do something. Well done, Kogi Residents. Keep it up. By the time you make them feel unsafe, shun their belittling rice giving ceremonies. Heap abuse on their families, then change will begin to emerge.
