A woman died while another was seriously injured in a fatal auto crash along Abinisi-Gboko road on Saturday, August 6th.
The driver of the Toyota Corolla conveying the yet-to-be- identified woman from Makurdi to Gboko was reportedly on high speed when the tyre bust and the vehicle somersaulted several times. The full photo after the cut..
over speeding....beside, that road (markurdi-abinsin-Asukuyan) has been in bad state for over 4 years now. still yet dem go still dey do "fast & furious" on top. anyway... RIP to the lost souls.
The main cause of burst tyres at high speed is under-inflation. Always make sure your tyres are fully inflated and at the same pressure before going on any long journey.
