Singer Koffi Olomide caught on camera assaultiing female dancer in front of police officers (watch)

Koffi Olomide was caught on camera assaulting one of his dancers after landing in Nairobi, Kenya today. The 60-year-old Congolese soukous singer and dancer, accompanied by his wife and a group of dancers, landed at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport to a rousing reception by a group of Kenyan fans waiting to receive him.

In the short video, the rhumba maestro is seen approaching the group of dancers before viciously kicking one of them in the belly right before police officers that were present.

The victim is reported to have been arguing with Koffi’s wife, who also accompanied him to Nairobi. After the incident, Koffi was calmed down by the police officers before he was ushered to his car that immediately sped off.

  27. He is a beast and should be made to understand that. Women should boycott his music until he apologizes for his beastly behavior and makes her whole. What is disappointing is that the police and everyone else there did not see anything wrong with what was he was doing. Kicking someone unprovoked in the belly.
Definitely making sure his lame music is not played around me

  28. Kenyans i am disappointed ! This is so myopic . The Kenyan police just advertised their ignorance. He should be arrested for assault . And if people still go for that show then i am disappointed that there is no human rights in that country and if the women of Kenya can not do something about this then its a big shame to the country name! This is the most irritating view i have seen in my life.

When dino malaye Assaulted Tinubus wife , Nigerian women stood up against him. If Kenyans can not do such then i am sorry to say there is no value for Kenyan woman.

  32. In August 2012, Koffi Olomide was found guilty of assaulting his producer. Earlier on, in the same year he had been charged with raping three of his dancers. The charges were later dropped.
