Shiite/Army clash: Judicial Commission of Inquiry presents its final report to Gov. Malam Nasir el-Rufai

The Judicial Commission of Inquiry into the 12-14 December 2015 clashes between Nigerian Army and Shiite Muslims in Zaria, has presented its final report to Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai.

The 13-member Commission of Inquiry was inaugurated on 29 January 2016, with a mandate to report six weeks after its first public sitting. The Commission was set up to inquire into the Zaria clashes, provide a detailed account & assign administrative & criminal responsibility where due.
